We ordered three different kinds, the Arroz con Pollo, Picadillo and the Cubano sandwich. The Taste are good but don’t be deceived with the pictures on the menu. I do have two small bite size chicken on my arroz con pollo, they can remove pollo and just call it Yellow rice and black beans with fried plantain. Also with the picadillo. Ground beef is like 4 plastic spoon. Sandwich is alright

This was so disappointing. You cannot substitute any sides. The Palomilla, overcooked and dry. Rice lacked flavored. The kids chicken tenders, are just tiny pieces of over fried chicken. I asked if that was the chicken, they said yeah, is small pieces. The pastries were ok. The only thing that was good were the sweet plantains. We got a kids mean, Palomilla, 2 drinks, two pastries for almost $40. Save yourself the time and go to a real restaurant and get your money’s worth.

I loved this place and try to go back as often as I can. Food and freshness is the best ever. The most amazing first experience trying Mi Apa, & I see why so many locals love this establishment! The tequenos were my kids absolute favorite, and I was addicted to them on site! Thank you, gracias Mi Apa! Muy Bien!

I ordered plantains and thought they were black beans. The were black nuggets of plantains. When I said something the workers just looked at me like they didn’t want to be bothered. They tasted awful and burnt. I’ve always had great experiences at Mi Apa in Alachua so I was very disappointed with the Oaks Mall location.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love and passion behind everything they do. María and Emilio provided outstanding service, full of warmth and professionalism that makes you feel right at home.
And my dad—what a chef! Every dish was a true masterpiece, perfectly prepared and full of flavor and heart.
This isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place to enjoy an unforgettable experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

The serving size of meat was so small that they attempted to spread it out over the rice to make it look like there was more. I asked for more ground beef, thinking it was a mistake and they responded by saying that the sizes are measured. The serving sizes used to be a lot more generous. This will likely be the last time we come.

I enjoyed my visit to Mi Apa in Jonesville. The staff was very friendly. The environment was upbeat and the food was delicious. It was my first time trying Cuban coffee and guava jelly. I definitely plan on coming back for more of the experience.

This location does not do curbside. They need to turn off the curbside option in Toast. They also don’t have any easy parking options.
I ordered a curbside order, arrived on time, and waited 10 minutes right in front of them. I was on the phone trying to to connect with them the entire time and nobody answered. Do not order curbside and expect anyone to bring it out, at least not around noon.
The food is pretty good, very similar to the other Mi Apas but not as many options at all.
