While visiting from Texas, we decided to give this little place a try. WOW! Very tasty!
I went with the loaded chicken whole potato. Wowzer, loaded means loaded. Every topping they have, which is a lot. If you like living on the edge, give it a try.
The wife, ordered the chili pie (aka, frito pie) and said it was the best she has ever had. Coming from Texas where Frito Pie is served at every BBQ joint, and she gets it, is a hugh statement.
The in-laws got a half potato with chili and cheese with chives and were very happy with their selection.
If you are in Rockwood TN, be sure to swing by and give The Potato Hut a try. You will not regret it.

We got us a loaded pulled pork potato tonight for supper. It was huge!! You can buy a whole that’s what we got or s half. We split ours when we got home. It was delicious!! You get to pick whatever you want to have for toppings from their list. There’s no way I could eat a whole one by myself! While I was waiting I was reading their menus and noticed they have a student menu from 3:30 – 4:30 when the kids get out of school that was a super price. Thank you for taking care of the kids!!

The potato was done perfectly and the pulled pork was delicious. My wife got the chicken and loved it. Free refills on tea (Which was a good thing since I forgot to drink anything) and the portions were generous for the price. Great place to eat if you’re passing through.

Whole baked potatoes with all of the toppings you can imagine for only $11, or half for $6, is a steal! They also have sandwiches, hand squeezed lemonades with multiple flavors, snacks and chips.

I had a great experience at this potato bar! The potatoes were delicious, and mine came topped with pulled pork that was cooked perfectly. They offer tons of topping options, so there’s something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole visit even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

2 whole potatoes are huge!!! Very generous on the toppings. Go here HUNGRY! and leave stuffed just like their potatoes! Buddy’s BBQ, who?! Also the place was super cute and they said tomorrow is Taco Tuesday!!!!

The gimmick is baked potato served pretty much with whatever toppings they have for nothing extra. Half and whole LARGE STEAK POTATO is the base entree, then load it up with meat, and various other condimental toppings as you see fit! There were a number of other entrees to be had, but I HAD to have that very large baked potato with extra fixins on it! Staff was awesome as well!!! Thank you Potato Hut! I’m definitely going to be back!
