I have slowly quit going to Burger King because there is just so much competition out there but after tonight I have to rethink my routine. The help at the counter asked very politely would you like cheese with your Whoopper? I usually say no thank you, but this time I said yes. Now, I don’t know if that’s some kind of code for change it up and take me back to when you dreamed of going to Burger King, but it happened here in Golden.

It saden me to see they replaced the quant entrance door handles with the Burger King Logo to a plain door. But you don’t pay for atmosphere when you really want a great meal to eat quickly. We’re talking fast food. This has to be a Whopper desanation for those who dream of wanting a great Whopper taste experience before they die. I can only think it’s because I said yes to the cheese. I felt I had to share this with everyone who loves Bugger King, Whoppers and fun cities like Golden Colorado. I’ll be back more often to relive the love of their Whopper.

Want there on 4-30-25 about 6pm I was the only person in the store there where two employees the french fries where sitting out on a tray not under a heat lamp they where cold the bread on my sandwich was hard ant the burger was cold . I won’t be back this Burger King is terrible. Update as of 6-5-25 I don’t know why I keep coming back to this place fries were Once again cold sandwich was not up to temperature either this place needs to just close. that’s right that’s where your fries are coming from. They’re not in the fry hopper to keep them warm. They’re on the counter on a tray.

Drive in staff is great, don’t know about the cook though. Ordered 2 original chick sandwich meals, the bottom buns were burned on both sandwiches. I couldn’t take back as found out when we were sitting down to eat.

Pretty sure the fresh fry smell is like an angler fish tactic. Luring me in with that sweet, golden smell and then get hit with a burger that tasted like musty wax deep fried in thrice-recycled canola oil.
The place was a deserted mess, too. High noon and the place had only a spattering of people. Like everyone in Golden already knows this place just, well… Suck.
There is a deli nearby, if you are hungry, go there. At least they make actual food.

How is this BK still in business? They’re only open when they feel like it, some days not at all. They hardly get an order right. My Husband and I haven’t been back since summer 25′. I’ve lived in Golden 30yrs and this place is the worst. Close it down and open something else.

Went there today and some kid working at the drive through literally threw my change at me and when it hit the ground he laughed and said ” I didn’t throw it at you” before I could say anything. Not the first time he has done this. Then I asked him his name and he blew a kiss at me. I told him I would come inside and he dared me to. Said come see what you get.

Honestly I used to enjoy going there seems it is very conveniently close by. However that happy days for me is long gone since I was coming by to pickup my food for mobile order I saw like 4 cars waiting in drive thru and waited for 5 mins only to have myself go inside to get it. When I came in to my own surprise the lobby was dirty that I saw a empty water bottle with a cigarette inside dropped on floor tons of very dirty stuff all around.
There was a whopper on top that I have no idea how long that’s been there. But they gave me that one from there and that whopper I got from there tasted gross.
They hit all time low for sure.

Great location for a bk. But you never know if its open. Idk if its lack of employees or what but every time i drive by its open or not. Its 4 pm on a saturday and not open… how is this place even here?! This is generic happy hour for fast food and its shut down. Never had issues with the food but i never know when i can buy it.
