Loved Ernie’s for over 25 year. The current staff and customer service is excellent as is their food. The prices are fantastic! Get a bag of chips and some salsa and cabbage maybe carrots and jalapeño. I can drink their red salsa it’s so good. My current go to is the crispy beef tacos I even converted my sister sandy to liking these (she’s a flour tortilla only girl). They are packed full of shredded beef. Their chili verde is the best in the valley as is their menudo. ❤️

This little place was amazing. The food here is the best! I ordered a Super Burrito with Carne Asada and it was perfect. The meat was cooked so that it had a slight crisp and was tender. No fat in my burrito just plain goodness. It was a nice size which was great because I was super hungry. It is a little inland, about 5-7 miles from the freeway and certainly worth the little hunt. Prices are very reasonable and the crew is very respectable. These folks know what they’re doing in the kitchen!!! I highly recommend!!!

Not impressed either.. Menudo was big portions just a weird taste? Potato Taco had a teaspoon on mashed potatoe at bottom of a hard shell the rest was completely all toppings. Hubby’s taco Tripas was ok but Cabeza taco was nasty..

Simple little place with good prices for the. Amount of food you get. We got a Alpastor and Shrimp Burritos and our daughter got 2 tacos for less than 24$. The food tasted good and definitely will be back. Nice to support a local small family business.

I had a chicken burrito with sour cream, and it was terrible. It was soggy, and then I ordered it torta which there was barely any meat on it. The bread was hard on some places soggy in the middle. I think the only thing good was the fish that was fried Again, yes but different choices of food

A friend from the Bay Area stop by on their way towards Sacramento pretty much only Mexican restaurant in Patterson Googled came up once he mentioned going there I was like NOPE rather eat my tires off my car Probably has a better taste. Remembered and told her why it wasn’t a good idea to go. There told her my experience and she was like. Let’s hit up Salida their food Looks like Their food Taste, homemade if somebody brings up, Ernie’s, Ignore them go to someone else and you can thank me later. Can’t wait to Burt open a restaurant.:)

Our family of 4 eats here (to-go) at least once a week. The only place for some good Ole home cooked food! Super carne Asada fries! 10/10! Super burrito with 2 meats. Tacos. Enchiladas. Chili Verde. ALL GOOD! Never disappointed. There are many options in Patterson, but Ernies is the only option for us!

I’ve been going here since I was little. Something about the smell in there is nostalgic. Between the food, the art, and the atmosphere. There’s no other place I like to go to get a ‘Super Burrito’ then Ernies. The people there are always friendly to their customers and the food is delicious.
