A great place to stop in with a friend to relax with a great cup of coffee and a sandwich. Have really enjoyed stopping in as well as looking at (…and purchasing) the local artwork that’s displayed. Still love the picture we bought a couple years ago!

Just discovered this place today, and EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing! The service, the food, the environment. I will definitely be making this a more regular stop!

This is a sanctuary. The portal to peace. You walk in and it smells like cinnamon, vinyl records, and emotional healing. The barista greets you like you’re the protagonist. The lighting? Soft. Golden. Forgiving. And then you order the iced apple chai latte. It’s not a drink. It’s a seasonal awakening. It tastes like autumn fell in love with a spice rack and wrote you a poem. It’s crisp. It’s creamy. It’s giving witchy orchard energy.

But wait.
You’re cold. You need comfort. You need Ziggy Stardust.

That warm Ziggy Stardust drink? It’s not just a beverage. It’s a hug from the universe. It’s like David Bowie himself descended from the stars, kissed your forehead, and said, ‘You’re doing amazing, sweetie.’ It’s warm. It’s mysterious. It’s got that little shimmer of something you can’t quite name like stardust, or closure, or the feeling of finally being understood. So yeah. Penny Lane isn’t just a coffeehouse. It’s a safe space. A vibe. A cosmic reset button.

We found this cozy spot on a snowy Sunday, and it was the perfect escape from the cold. The warmth of the place was so inviting, with regulars chatting with the baristas—always a great sign! We grabbed drinks from the cooler and found a comfy seating area in the back. We sipped our drinks and read, fully content in the peaceful atmosphere.

Relaxing.

Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!

this place is just a whole total vibe. It’s so cool inside there with local artwork on the wall, items that can be purchased from local people. And then the selections for the food and drink. Man, they’ve got some great looking sandwiches I went with the smoothie today and was not disappointing at all. We tried two different kinds, and both of them were just incredible. I don’t really feel like you’re going to go wrong with anything that you get here. Staff was extremely friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean. If you’re downtown in Evansville, and you want a good place to stop by and give this one a shot.

Penny Lane Coffeehouse is a place to go when you want to wine down and relax. I’ve been supporting this local business for a while and moved away about 10 months ago and is the reason I had to move back. This beautiful establishment with its unique character that does not match any other local coffee shop in town made me even more home sick than ever! I’m so happy to be back in Evansville which is not my birth home but my chosen home that my heart chose. Penny Lane Coffeehouse is definitely a must try for any coffee lover and even non-coffee lovers because they offer way more than just coffee!! They have breakfast and lunch for foods and I’ve attached the picture of the menu in this review. They also have smoothies and Teas for the coffee lovers and non-coffee readers! This is also the place to go when you want to just escape the world and get lost in books. Check out the huge wall of books where people take a book and leave a book. Also coming here you also support the local artists here in Evansville by coming to admire the work of arts on the wall or even purchasing one but also don’t forget the handmade jewelry’s and keychains!! Stop and support local today at Penny Lane Coffeehouse

We were on our way to brunch and saw this corner coffee shop and had to go! And who can ever deny coffee?! Lol..
It was busy for a Sunday afternoon visit, but we are not from that area. That might be normal. It’s definitely a cute place. Cool local artwork, jewelry for sale, books to read. Very cool. We did not try any food, but the menu looked delicious. Hope to return soon! It’s pet friendly too!

Cozy environment. Enjoyed the artwork on the walls for sale. The blended coffee choices were very limited. We had the caramel frappe, very basic, I know. It just wasn’t what we were hoping for. Would try it again if in the area.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Penny Lane for over a decade now & hope it prospers forever. I can’t imagine a more cozy & welcoming environment. Reading at coffee shops is one of my favorite things to do & this one is by far my favorite one to chill at. I love seeing all the dedicated locals that visit everyday to read the paper with their coffee. So much charm in this place. I adore that they feature local artists on rotation. This place is truly a pillar of the community. My go to order is a dirty lavender chai & a veggie burger with pesto. I also just learned they now serve cold brew with cold foam! But you can’t go wrong with anything here- the ladies working are also super helpful if you need some help coming up with something that suits you!

We stumbled upon this delightful coffee shop over Thanksgiving. It serves real fresh food, excellent coffee, good service. But the vibe is just the best – exposed brick, funky tables and chairs. Nice change from the chains.
