Sagar is truly a hidden gem. The food is outstanding, full of flavor without being oily or overly spiced. The heat level is just right, allowing the excellent taste of each dish to shine through. Portions are generous and perfectly priced; you’ll want to keep eating because it’s so delicious, yet you’ll still leave feeling satisfyingly full.
The naan deserves a special mention, super soft and pillowy, with a light crisp on one side that makes it perfect for scooping up every last bite. Add to that the excellent service, and the whole experience is top-notch.

Delicious indian food after ages ! So glad we came so far to Carleton Place to try this amazing place. My husband opted for medium spicy and I was able to customize the spice level to very high and it surely delivered what I wanted! Delicious …and extremely spicy kadhai paneer I had been craving for ! N oh my the butter naan was melt in mouth ..and my favourite lemon plus onion salad to balance the heat … yum yum yum! I even tried the well made indo style hakka noodles … perfect amount of veggies ! I need to visit again n again to try all the other dishes as well.

Must visit place if you are in town. Best indian food i have ever had. Being vegetarian, it hard to find good tasting punjabi indian curries. This place gives justice to that. Just loved the food. Everything that we tried was delicious and flavourful.

Great food, best Indian food we’ve eaten in Vietnam. Portion sizes are good, garlic naan was massive and the butter chicken was delicious. Staff are good and friendly and provide a good service. All very well priced.

It’s a very nice and pleasant place to dine in the restaurant which has nostalgic vibes of past.. The food was amazing, the veg Manchuria was good as in India I love it.. and the butter roti’s and butter naan are very crisp and to the point with delicious taste very few restaurants have that texture sagar Indian cuisine is one of them.. the service was excellent I think at front of house was managed by the owner’s daughter she is very clam and helpful.. !!$$!!
