Thank you to the young man at the counter (very helpful and provided suggestions while taking my order) and the young lady cooking in back knows how to make a calzone and pizza)!!!
They both provided customer service excellence! Must visit this place and dine in. Ambiance was cozy and lace was very clean.
Once I got home, I couldn’t resist snapping a picture of the pizza before digging in. The first thing I noticed when I took my first bite was the crust, it was perfectly crispy, which I really appreciated. It had a nice texture that balanced well with the soft, well-cooked veggies, tomato sauce, and cheese. Everything was cooked just right, and the flavor was on point, not too greasy, with the right amount of seasoning.
Another thing I noticed while I was at the restaurant was that they have a pizza buffet during lunch hours. That could definitely be worth checking out next time I’m in the mood for a variety of slices.
I was really happy with the pizza. It was simple but delicious, and I’ll definitely be back to give them another try, maybe even for the buffet next time! I highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving some good, no-fuss pizza.
UPDATE… Let’s start by saying Eri, Juan and Danna Made this visit extra special. First time I’ve ever tried the warm pretzels with cheese dip and it won’t be the last. If you’d like pretzels at all, you need to try these. Great service. It’s nice when you order things at a counter and you’re sitting and you’re eating and they still come around to check how you’re doing and if you need anything. Service plus! It’s Still about the crust and the ratio of sauce toppings.
UPDATE… Still a fav. It’s about that crust and the perfect ratio of crust to sauce. Had the special “Honey Bexar Pizza” dang! Incredible.
UPDATE… Still craving this pizza. The crust- um. The unique flavors are like an experiment in cooking that should win awards. Usually plan on spending more for these great offerings but very affordable. And try that salad. It was fantastic!
This friend and I decided to give this a try since we had to do something nearby. We both commented at the same time that we loved the crust. Loved. Thin and crispy and delicious. Not overwhelmed with lots of sauce, and they had just the right amount. It wasn’t very busy in the restaurant part, but they had multiple pickups for to go orders. That’s always a good sign. we both said we would come back. I definitely need to try those Brisket Texas Rolls and a pizza called The Pothole. Im intrigued lol.
Pizza was really good. I had a Molto Meat and added mushrooms and onions. I like mine a little crispier however and I gave a quick blast in the toaster oven when I got home.
I got 10”. It was perfect for one person. 6 slices. A really big eater might want to go larger or get two 10”.
