My husband and I had take out from Cajun Shack. I got grilled and he got fried! The food is definitely delicious. I would love to see some healthy options on the menu. Like a summer salad with fresh fruit and blackened shrimp. Over all I enjoyed the food and I look forward to my next order already! Oh, and the onion rings are fantastic!

I was craving shrimp etouffee. This was not what I expected at all, however, it is almost as the description says. Shrimp (with no seasoning), holy trinity (still raw), Cajun cream sauce (creamy rice with a few dashes of paprika. I also got the shrimp po’boy. They use shrimp with tail on in the sandwich so I had to open the sandwich and take off all the tails before reassembling the sandwich to eat it. The restaurant did appear very clean and inviting but I will not be back.

I’m so glad I stopped by. The fried oysters were amazing, the hushpuppies fried just right, and the breading on the fries the GOOD kind that more places should use imo. Huge servings too. Almost got the Etouflee, might have to come on back.

Take out, ordered shrimp etouffee & chicken & sausage jumbo, & shrimp. Disappointed in the shrimp etouffee you couldn’t taste the seasoning due to so much rice. Chicken & sausage gumbo was ok.
The shrimp basket was great . I’ve worked in a Cajun restaurant and from the gulf coast so it’s hard to compare food there to Milan. It is a nice addition to this area.

Good cajun food. Really enjoyed the catfish only place I’ll eat fish in Milan from here on. Good seasoned fries and pretty good hush puppies. Very nice building in side and friendly service. Took about 10 mins to get food once ordered.

The price was about $16, but the food was amazing. I highly recommend getting a side of the Cajun Sauce; it goes amazingly with the puppies and the po’boy.
Although the price is not the cheapest, it is well worth every penny, as you get a great portion size. I made two meals out of my order, and I eat a decent amount.
I will definitely be going back!

I wish I could post a picture of these boudin balls. My family and I spent $24 on a few orders of them and they are overcooked in what seems to be old grease. We are so disappointed that they brought this out to us after a good 20 min wait and spending $97 in total. The turkey club looks good atleast. But I do not suggest you getting the boudin balls and if you’re in any kind of hurry don’t pull in there.

I was really looking forward to my meal with how ridiculous the prices were but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The food lacked flavor, and the service was slow (nobody was there but us) so you can only imagine how frustrating it was waiting so long on our food that was brought to us cold, I hope the restaurant can improve these aspects in the future, as for now me and my family not be back very disappointed.

My daughter and I were wanting something different on Monday and decided to give this place a try. We both got fried fish; she got onion rings, I got fries, and we got an order of gator bites, all to go. Truly, for to-go, it was really good. It did get a little soggy, but that’s on me for ordering all fried food to go nothing any restaurant can do for that, lol. Everything had nice seasoning and flavor and was freshly cooked. I will say that next time I go, I want to eat it in the restaurant because I believe it will be even better. For the gator bites, first, I will say I’m used to being in Florida and getting them extremely fresh, so I’m pretty picky. These were good though; some places you can tell are very frozen, but not these. I loved the seasoning they used; there was one or two that were a little chewy, but still good. I’d like to have the option of a dipping sauce with a little more kick than sweet for the gator bites but that’s just me. Overall we will definitely be back and very much worth every penny
