great new place, the food was solid and surprisingly cheap. it is definitely more of a take out place then dine In but very solid.

we got a bento box and some California rolls
the chicken bento box was a solid choice you get a ton of food for a nice low price. The chicken was delicious.

The food was delicious ! The atmosphere was quiet AND clean on the inside as well as the bathrooms. The service was great ! I came in and ordered at a time where the grease was being changed/replaced so I did have to wait a little longer than usual but that wasn’t a big deal at all because of the friendly customer service & communication that was provided to me. I also received an “on the house” soda and vegetable roll for my wait. I’ll be coming back here when I want to save a lil extra $$ on eating out specifically when I want sushi/hibachi. 10/10 🙂

Very clean, hot, fast, and fresh. I ordered the tofu and broccoli for lunch and it was not only fairly priced, but a great portion – and delicious! Also had a salmon avo roll. I would definitely like to see more variety on the sushi rolls though. Will definitely eat here again!

Take out order took 37 minutes, quoted 15. The salad dressing was inedible. Quality of sushi was questionable at best. Bento box was cold. If you enjoy good sushi do not go here.

I’m very picky about my sushi and not local so I’ve been searching for a spot that’s good and this place hit the mark! I’ve tried multiple places in Norfolk and they disguise their mediocre sushi with a bunch of sauces and too much rice on top of being poorly rolled. Here, I got the Yummy roll and salmon avo roll. I got huge ratio of salmon and the rice was perfect. The sushi was also rolled perfectly and didn’t fall apart when picking it up. Great service from one of the ladies as well. She saw me using my phone and got me a phone stand. Also got me a cup of ice for my bottled soda without asking. Inside is clean but nothing fancy. Definitely a spot for lunch. They have also expanded their sushi menu it seems.

I wish I had a picture the food was very nice and presentable I could have put it on a fancy plate and basically been at the restaurant. It was super yummy. Get the volcano roll 10 stars. It is street parking and it was a 10-15 min wait for it being express but it’s sushi so beggars can’t be choosers

Ordered takeout and they were very fast and efficient. I think they are still offering grand opening takeout deals so we received free cokes. We both got the chicken teriyaki with egg rolls. It was all very tasty. Saw some criticisms about the chicken teriyaki and egg rolls in other reviews and didn’t at all find this to be the case.
