The food isn’t fantastic, but it’s good enough for this podunk town, and the country ambience improves the experience! I had a hot beef plate. The beef was delicious, the gravy was fine, the green beans were bland, and the mashed potatoes…were they from a mix? It did cost less than $10, though, so I can’t complain about value. I would stick to the sandwiches next time, or maybe an egg skillet. Overall, an interesting experience. I would probably be willing to try it again.

Smells like cattle and its a pretty old little place, but the food and service were worth it. The beef patty on my burger was fantastic! Unionville is pretty small, so if you need to stop this is probably your best place. It’s cool that just outside the Cafe is right where they hold auctions for all sorts of cattle.
