Serrano’s goal is to embrace and display traditional flavors as well as some “hidden gems” you’ve likely never tasted before. Using the best ingredients that are available we focus on making everything from scratch daily. In addition to hand-crafted corn tortillas and house-made salsas, we take great pride and extra time preparing our meats. We marinate our carne asada for over 24 hours and grill for a healthier lifestyle to offering our house crafted chorizo. But don’t take our word for it. Experience the tradition and sabor for yourself. Our family proudly welcomes you to Serrano’s!

Thanks!
I’d say the cucumber margaritas is worth a try amd the cubanos are huge and tasty. 🙂
Upon arrival I looked for the 50% off special. Advertising, flags, banners, unicorns and clowns all announcing 50% off taco Tuesday. I found none of that. Upon entrance I looked for any signs of 50% off tacos on display and again nothing. So I went ahead and asked one of the two gentlemen behind the counter. He said yes I had the right place. I politely grinned and ordered three carne asada tacos to go. (Someone was behind me waiting their turn). At this point the gentleman behind the counter informed me that I could not order the special to go. Confused, I looked at him for a minute before I realize d it was an unannounced ploy to lure business into the establishment. (They want to FILL the parking lot and tables with shiny Happy people. In essence they want to use US as advertisement). Nothing at all wrong with that. Sound business practice. But the guy behind me didn’t get that. Upon hearing the conversation between me and the cashier, he complained “we can’t take our food to go?!” –Not understanding it was just for the special…
So I paid for my food with a card. It was 12 something, plus tip. I got one of those receipts with the tip space, (which is annoying but I always put in a little something thinking I might get a little something back…and that’s okay too; perfectly fine– it’s just human nature and I’m not going to apologize for that). He gave me a number, I collected silverware and my Coke and I sat down. Soon the gentleman behind the counter presented my meal in front of me. The beans looked a bit runny but I was hungry. I also noticed the carne asada look more like hamburger than carne asada. But I was hungry. I wolfed it all down before I realized, at the last bite, that the shells were greasy and not fantastic like they looked in the picture, AT ALL. The music was a bit loud but okay for my flavor. The food was okay. It was a bit pricey for a glorified fast food restaurant–even with the 50% off.
In a nutshell, it is no Taco King.
