I got the Philly cheesesteak, others got the meatloaf entre, the Diner Burger, & the brisket basket. Everyone thought theirs tasted awesome. The Philly had great thinly sliced sauteed mushrooms, chopped red and Anaheim peppers, grilled onions. The meat was thin and perfect. Lots of food!
Real cream for the coffee. Hilarious signs (look out for falling cows). Great classic 50s rock music. Very attentive, friendly staff
Definite Diner winner.
Even the though we were the only patrons at the time, it took forever for the food to come and then it was overcooked. I’ve maybe sent one meal back in my life but this was the second time. Again took forever and the waitress had serious attitude. She stated I was wasting food. 4 dollars for a cup of coffee and the chicken and waffles cost more than menu stated. Got the second order and wasnt much better. I paid the bill and tossed the food. I would have loved to try the meatloaf sand but the waitress’s attitude and the delay in getting food sealed the deal that I won’t return
KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and CHECK YOUR STATEMENT!!!
.When I got my debit card statement, I noticed that I was charged an extra 9 dollars. I can only assume the waitress altered it for the tip. I could have disputed the charge, however, that just reinforced my opinion. Because the service was my biggest issue, I was seriously considering going back and trying the meatloaf sand or turkey tenderloin. I get that not every menu item is their specialty and I’ve read so many positive reviews on those choices. I have never left a negative review before, I was hoping I could happily update to a good review. If I do change my my mind, I’ll update at that time.
I will definitely eat at this little diner again.
My only suggestion is for more signage outside. Big and colorful.
The ham with the Benedict was a little off tasting but otherwise great.
Pile up tasted fresh and flavorful.
The chicken friend steak was a favorite for all at the table.
