Went on a Saturday. There was 1 person to work the entire front of the house. Sitting people, cleaning, serving, taking orders, and checking people out. There was 1 cook. There was 1 bus person who didnt understand what needed to be done. Me and my 3 friends all got up and helped clean the front of the restaurant, picked up plates and cups, cleaned off tables…. just to be able to help the nice guy out. The chicken salad is some of the best I’ve ever had! The macaroni and cheese was fine. would go back. And they are looking to hire!

This was great! I saw this as an empty old Hardee’s for years and was happy to see someone open up a new restaurant. I suggested it to the family tonight and was very pleased.
I got the Philly cheesesteak, others got the meatloaf entre, the Diner Burger, & the brisket basket. Everyone thought theirs tasted awesome. The Philly had great thinly sliced sauteed mushrooms, chopped red and Anaheim peppers, grilled onions. The meat was thin and perfect. Lots of food!
Real cream for the coffee. Hilarious signs (look out for falling cows). Great classic 50s rock music. Very attentive, friendly staff
Definite Diner winner.

Overcharged and horrible service. I

Even the though we were the only patrons at the time, it took forever for the food to come and then it was overcooked. I’ve maybe sent one meal back in my life but this was the second time. Again took forever and the waitress had serious attitude. She stated I was wasting food. 4 dollars for a cup of coffee and the chicken and waffles cost more than menu stated. Got the second order and wasnt much better. I paid the bill and tossed the food. I would have loved to try the meatloaf sand but the waitress’s attitude and the delay in getting food sealed the deal that I won’t return

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and CHECK YOUR STATEMENT!!!
.When I got my debit card statement, I noticed that I was charged an extra 9 dollars. I can only assume the waitress altered it for the tip. I could have disputed the charge, however, that just reinforced my opinion. Because the service was my biggest issue, I was seriously considering going back and trying the meatloaf sand or turkey tenderloin. I get that not every menu item is their specialty and I’ve read so many positive reviews on those choices. I have never left a negative review before, I was hoping I could happily update to a good review. If I do change my my mind, I’ll update at that time.

So happy to see a locally owned business move in to this space! Our server was cheerful and attentive. She had nothing but positive things to say about working there…including the food, of course. I can’t remember her name, but we were there on Nov 5th, around noon. It wasn’t busy when we got there, but that changed by the time we were leaving.
I will definitely eat at this little diner again.
My only suggestion is for more signage outside. Big and colorful.

I’ve been to this establishment many times I see the reviews and I’m like really quite a few of these people are ex employees trying to ruin the owners reputation. I don’t personally know this guy that owns this restaurant. He’s just an acquaintance. I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes or 10 minutes most days, but people are saying a half hour to an hour if you want that go to Perkins, if you want a real restaurant try Highway 30 the food is great great atmosphere with a guy that I see that’s given his all and also try the many dishes they have it’s great

Decided to check this spot out cuz the reviews were good, but I have to say it was a mediocre experience at best. It was a Sunday morning, they were only about 1/3 full, but our food took over a half hour. Prices are high for what you get, and the food was very meh. To make matters worse, the owner or manager (not sure which) was having a slightly awkward conversation with one of his staff about a customer that had an issue with her meal.. within ear shot of our table. Never, ever, ever discuss your customers in a negative way in front of other customers.

Food was very flavorful and great portions. We ordered the pile up, eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, gyro hash and pancakes. Hash was a little cold but tasted great. Pancakes were cooked perfectly.
The ham with the Benedict was a little off tasting but otherwise great.
Pile up tasted fresh and flavorful.
The chicken friend steak was a favorite for all at the table.

The new location has a lot more room. They also now have a full bar. The food is good and plentiful. The highway fries are delicious sliced fried potatoes.
