Not super cheap for a food truck that’s out of the way but acceptable. Ordered a pad krapoa which tasted ok decent portion. It was a bit too saucy and tasted too much of the dark caramel soy sauce. Will try again and ask for less sauce to see if its better next time. Gives me confidence to try the other items.

This will come across as a strange review, the reason? I’ve not actually had food from there – I want to try because after reading other peoples opinions it looks to be a great place to visit.
However, because of past experience, I always check the Food Hygiene Ratings before I try out anywhere new.
So it was a shock to see that following a visit from Trafford Council in July of this year (2025), Dee Thai Food Truck was issued with zero stars (out of five) with an advisory note reading: “Urgent Improvement Necessary”.
Please don’t take this as a malicious review, it’s more of a nudge to the vendor to get on top of things before it’s too late and he/she sees their business start to struggle as word gets around.

An absolute hidden gem! Amazing food and amazing service. Took me right back to the delicious food I had in the far east. I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and prawn toast. We’ll definitely be visiting here again.

Forget the unhealthy McDonald’s and KFC nearby this is where you want to be eating! Super tasty authentic Thai food. Quick, easy and Healthy!

I work up the road so phoned up and asked for it to be ready for when I knew my break time would be and it was no problem I came to collect and it was ready to pick up straight away when I arrived.
I got a pad Thai and some chicken satay skewers, the prices are great value for what you get as the portions are big and the food tastes so good it was fresh, hot and I can’t praise it enough, it was just as nice if not better than what I’ve had at fancy Thai restaurants.

Tried for the 1st time yday, recommended by a friend. Really lovely food, Highly recommend Pad Thai… and chicken satay. This place is a gem ✨️
