We had one of the best experiences thanks to Emily at The Bean Depot Cafe. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her conversation genuinely elevated our whole visit. Warm, knowledgeable, and such a pleasure to talk to. On top of that, the live music was fantastic and added such a great atmosphere to the space. Emily is the kind of server who turns a simple lunch into a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back. ☕ ✨

Eclectic, fun atmosphere with live music. It was a perfect rustic spot for a casual lunch on a beautiful day. Reasonably priced food and friendly service. Historic structure. Was once a stop on the railroad that ran between Tampa and Boca Grande.

This is definitely a neighborhood gem.. we’ve wanted to stop so many times on our way to the beaches but never did UNTIL TODAY. And it was definitely worth it… so we’ll be planning our trips to the beach around The Historic Bean Depot Cafe.. a must stop.. food, atmosphere, staff everyone was great

Great food (fish sandwich was excellent! And the fried mushrooms were done just right) and the live music was a fun experience. Everyone, staff and customers alike, seemed relaxed and friendly. Nice spot off the beaten path with some historical interest to boot!

I think we found our new weekend lunch spot. I got the bacon cheddar burger and it was great. Our waiter (I cant remember his name, but he was wearing a grateful dead baseball cap) was fast, funny, and an all around joy. We will definitely be back.

This place is extremely dog friendly. They bring a bowl of water for the pups AND their menu has items for dogs (ex. Chicken and a cookie… grilled chicken pieces and a milk bone). They have nice, shady, outdoor seating with game options (horse shoes and cornhole). They have live music (a small stage where local musicians can play).

I have been twice… I have never received good service. The first time the server took forever to forget what we ordered and brought incorrect items. The second time the server took forever to get our orders… nothing was forgotten, until the food came and then we were the ones forgotten. I am just not impressed by the service.

The food both times was… OK. Not exceptional. But ok. Except the fries. The fries are pretty good. The chili is delicious (chili dog, Suicide Simon burger). The burgers are… burgers. The potato salad was good and the cole slaw was good as well. I might go back (third times a charm, right?) And try a different item (the nachos or one of the dinners). But I really have been unimpressed with the servers.

Lexie was amazing. She handled our party well. Gave us time to peruse the menu, eat our appetizers, and stayed on top of our beverages. Food was delicious and cooked to order. The outdoor seating was flexible and nice to enjoy the weather and wonderful breeze.

Catastrophic isn’t enough to describe the cesspool of food and service that this restaurant provides. You’d be better off eating dog food.

1. The service is “SLOW”. My Aunt Susan moves faster then the waiters here.

2. We ordered the nachos with the pulled pork. We received the nachos with no pulled pork but chilli instead. A complete and total miss on there part.

To add insult to injury, the waiter brought out the appetizer with the entrees at the same time. This is a big NO in the service industry. Appetizer comes first then within 10 to 15 minutes after finishing the appetizer the entree should come.

I would not come here again. Go get gas station sushi instead.

Had a great lunch here today. BLT, poppers, tuna salad sandwich and plain Jane hot dog. They still had a limited menu due to damage and loss from Milton. But – servers all were happy to see everyone, and the food was great!! Definitely a quick lunch that is tasty and satisfying. Live music was a nice addition.
