This place is always a nice way to spend an evening. Dinner and a show. The food is always well prepared and fresh. The fried rice here is amazing. The restaurant is always clean, workers are always welcoming and hospitable.

The most recent visit I had in Matsuya was good. The food was delicious. For those that have allergies with specific foods please advise the waiter or waitress while ordering. Be mindful that habachi style foods are made in the same place so you have to let them know so that they may make your food separately. We didn’t go to the habachi table this time but the habachi chef came to us and made sure that our food was good. Which it was delicious ! The habachi entrees comes with soup and salad prior to the actual entree coming so by the time it comes your stuffed. This time around I ordered the shrimp habachi which was so delicious. The sauce that they cook with is just tasty and just right. The rice that they use is the same rice as what they use for sushi which is sooooo good and in high quality !

This is a hole in the wall hibachi spot, very family friends too. Kids were running around, standing in chairs playing. This is a great spot if you have kids with a lot of energy. Come with lots of time to spare. And no WiFi.

We go here usually once a year, but this last visit left me with a desire to find a new hibachi spot.
There were multiple food items that tasted spoiled – seaweed salad, chicken, even the steak had a foul taste. Most of my plate was left over to pack up, and I didn’t eat it at home, the trash got it.
For dessert we had the fried ice cream; I was so sad that this was such a disappointment. The coating they used was cakey so it soaked up oil, it was also VERY hard to find the actual ice cream in it.

I ordered takeout hibachi and it was so delicious! The fried rice and yum yum sauce was so good and staff was very friendly! I love the retro vibes of the interior and definitely will be back for a sit down dinner!

Very good Sushi and hibachi place, there is wide variety selection of rolls and sushi. Perfect for family and friends gathering for a lunch or dinner. We’re always happily with every meal they have prepared for us, chefs make hibachi absolutely delicious, and of course the deserts, ice cream tempura is our favorite.
