The food was DELICIOUS! Crystal, our waitress was friendly and very attentive as was the restaurant’s manager, Natalie. The Chop Chop salad with shrimp was an excellent palette cleanser after our savory margarita pizza and perfectly tangy teriyaki wings (highly recommend getting the sliders too).

We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what Capital Craft has to offer!

We brought a large group here before heading to the Polar Express train ride, and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating! The staff was warm, organized, and incredibly patient with our excited crew. Our meals came out quickly and perfectly prepared, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. They made the whole experience feel festive and stress-free — exactly what we hoped for on a special holiday outing. Highly recommend for both small dinners and big gatherings! Santa and Mrs Claus even made a surprise visit and they couldn’t have been more welcoming!

Ike was an amazing server. He was funny, attentive and showed a lot of care to our table. The food was great! I had the bourbon burger and my boyfriend had the full rack of ribs, ribs fell off the bone and the burger was cooked to perfection. The truffle parm fries paired well with the aioli dip and the cocktails were delicious as well. Will come back for sure!

Great deals. The beer was excellent, and the pizza was perfect. The CC Burger was delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more items and get a better feel for the menu. The only downside was a few gnats flying around that were a bit annoying, but otherwise everything was great.

We stay in the area 3 / 4 times a year at nearby accommodations and Capital Craft is one of our gathering locations for happy hour with friends.

We were there yesterday (April 3rd around 4pm) and still a nice place to enjoy their happy hour. The service, food and in general everything was very good. I was particularly impressed with one of the bartenders that came to our table to make sure we were good (our server was also very attentive).

No delays in seating, service or attention while we enjoyed the atmosphere. Traffic did start to pick up after 5pm.

Overall still a great place to meet with friends and continues on our list of must stop places while visiting in the area.

On a side note, we use to frequent the next door establishment but Capital Craft just has a much more pleasant environment.

We came here for happy hour on Friday night. Prices were reasonable for a happy hour and fair. Drinks were good and decently strong too. Our waiter was nice but it wasn’t super busy and he wasn’t around often. We ordered food and the wings were good. They didn’t come with blue cheese or ranch so we had to ask for it. The pretzel bites were fine and the pizza was not very good at all. Overall for just drinks it was good. Music was good drinks were good but food was blah.

Capital Craft in East Hanover is a great gastropub with a fun, casual vibe. The drinks are amazing — especially the Polar Express espresso martini, which was absolutely delicious. Huge shoutout to Lauren, hands down the best bartender! Friendly, attentive, and makes the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

Came with mom for a fun lunch. Loved that we were welcomed by some of the sweetest humans this side of the garden state. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The service was friendly and punctual. Mom ordered the Avo Toast which she loved too much for me to capture a photo. Yummy, flavorful, and filling are how she described it. I got the Loaded Nachos with steak. I liked them, and my only advice to the kitchen would be to reduce how much salt they use on the chips but the rest of it was tasty. We came here as a recommendation and I’m happy to have given it a try.

We came in at 10:00 PM because Google listed the closing time as 12:00 AM. When we arrived, the bartender and one of the waitresses immediately seemed annoyed that we were there. They were openly making comments to each other about “getting people to go home,” which made us feel unwelcome right away.
The bartender wasn’t very attentive. I ordered a beer and my friend ordered a cider. When she brought the drinks, both were very light in color and neither had any head. After taking a sip, we realized the drinks had been switched.
Normally a mix-up wouldn’t be a big deal, but I am allergic to apples. That meant I had accidentally taken a sip of cider, which could have been catastrophic. When we explained the mistake and mentioned my allergy, the bartender tried to joke that there were “no apples in the cider.” Thankfully I didn’t have a full anaphylactic reaction, but I did develop blisters around my lips.
She checked in once to ask if I was okay. Shortly after, she called last call around 10:45 PM. Maybe the Google hours are incorrect, but regardless, the attitude toward customers and the dismissive response to a potentially serious allergy were disappointing.
I’m generally very forgiving of honest mistakes, but the rudeness and cavalier response from the bartender are why I felt the need to leave this review.
