hour long queue to get in shop, fortunately it wasn’t raining and drinks/food available. Limited stock – only one beer type / no mugs in shop plus bar run out of hot chocolate, but good / interesting chioce of products – not cheap, but good quality. Parking ok. Probably better in the summer.

The lines to get into the shop is insane, and so are the prices. They only sell food and drinks, and a tote bag behind the counter but there are no actual “souvenirs” from the show, but it is worth the visit, i just couldn’t buy much cause I wouldn’t be able to take it with me on the plane.

Now about the restaurant: very quick service. We got the big view and the burgers and fries were really really good. The soft serve is also super yummy, I recommend getting it!

What can we say, what a wonderful trip to Diddly Squat. We stayed for lunch and chose the local pork sausage in a bun with skin on fries. The price was very reasonable at £7.50 for the sausage bun and £5 for the skin on fries. Service was prompt and the sausages were the best we had on our trip. You could taste the quality of the produce. After lunch we visited the shop where the staff were equally as friendly. Well worth a trip.

Second time I’ve driven 4 hours to get to the cafe (despite checking their website each time, to make sure they’re open) …. Nothing to say we’re closed……. . I’m just disappointed that no one could be bothered to spent 2 minutes to save so many people being disappointed. Sorry to moan…

Frozen cow juice is absolutely amazing, very fresh . Different queues for food and drinks. Loved the small local businesses that were there today . We had the Hawkstone premium larger and hedgerow cider both tasted amazing and so smooth . Very well priced for everything .

As a fan of the show, it was exciting to finally visit this location after so many hours spent watching it on screen. However, the magic faded quickly with a few practical issues.

Parking was a hassle, as we had to leave the car some distance away, trudging through muddy paths to get to the site. Once there, we faced massive crowds, which made the experience feel more chaotic than charming.

We were keen to check out the cozy little shop, but the line was so long it would require a serious commitment of time and patience. If you’re not prepared to wait, you may want to skip it altogether.

The food and drink options were solid, with some enjoyable alcohol choices, but prices were high. While the quality was good, I can’t say it fully justified the expense.

Overall, it might be worth a visit if you’re local or happen to be passing through on a quiet day. Otherwise, the crowds and cost make it hard to recommend as a standalone destination.

We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. We went on a weekday which was supposedly a “quiet day” but the line up to get into the shop was still about 30mins. I expected shirts that were on their online store to be available but they weren’t. They only had caps and beanies and they were around the corner. It was overall pretty good and nifty to see it in person but definitely recommend allowing a lot of time and be prepared for a wait.

The food and drinks exceeded my expectations. The prices were fairly reasonable for the hearty portions. The open barn space made the area airy and the atmosphere was casual and buzzing. The whole experience made me better appreciate the efforts that the programme worked hard for the local farming industry.

Wednesday at approx. 11:15am, swiftly parked my motorcycle and joined the queue for about an hour to get into the shop. I bought some chutney and some ale sausages for dinner. That was the real reason for travelling from Milton Keynes to Didley Squat – also a reason to go out for a ride on a nice sunny day. The queue was pleasant enough. My neck got scorched, but that was my fault.

Once you’ve queued for the shop, you can join a smaller queue for food. I ordered a burger and skin on fries with a coffee. The queue for food took 10 mins and it was cooked swiftly and was very nice.

The shop definitely needs to be bigger, however, we will eat bangers and mash later knowing that we contributed, however little, to local farming.

A must visit for anyone who likes Clarkson’s Farm.
It’s a very cool experience seeing locations from the series, and the farm shop is well stocked with interesting quality products.
I always imagined the food would be okay but average food truck fare…
But boy was I surprised! Really good burger, amazing fries, excellent crumble cake and delicious beer! Blew my expectations away.
