Terrible service ruined what should’ve been a simple burger experience.
Out of two burgers, neither was made correctly. I ordered a burger with an over-easy egg and no onions — the egg came over hard and it was loaded with onions. My friend ordered a burger with all the fixings and received a plain cheeseburger instead.
When we politely pointed out that the food was wrong, our server Kenzie did not offer to fix it, remake it, or even apologize. Instead, she brought us the bill, as if the situation was over. We hadn’t even eaten — the food wasn’t edible as served.
Being handed the check without any attempt to correct the mistakes was honestly shocking. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters, and this was handled terribly.
We left disappointed and frustrated. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you expect accurate orders or basic customer service.

One of the best burgers I’ve tried in the USA so far. The bar is like a community where people knew each other. The bartender thumbs up!

Stopped in for a couple much needed after work beverages. The bartender was great, the TV’s had good shows/games on. The only complaint I had was of the Music being played but that’s a Personal opinion. I will definitely be back for the best burger in Ozaukee County!

Wings-crispy and some on the larger side.
Jalapeño poppers-appreciated the little heat of the jalapeños and they were diced within wonton.

Great burgers, fantastic apps and desserts…however, what made this such a great visit and a strong recommendation was the absolutely fantastic service and overall vibe. This was our first visit but if you would have lunch with us at the bar you would have thought we were weekly regulars…not because we are cool kids but because our bartender was such a laid back awesome communicator. She kept everyone engaged with not just her but others. Literally felt like we were hanging at Cheers with some great burgers and beer. Absolutely recommend and will return.

Went out for lunch with a friend. We started with log cabin tots, they are loaded tater tots. Which the toppings covered every tot! The were creamy and rich definitely recommend. I had the horsey melt, and they tried the Better Mac both fantastic! The chips are thin and crispy and paired the skip dip were amazing! It was not a drinking lunch but they had several yummy sounding drink specials. Large outdoor patio, would recommend next time you are in the area.

My wife and I came in hoping for a chill dinner, but the experience fell pretty flat. When we walked in, the place was almost empty, yet we were greeted with a dirty look from the bartender and not even a simple “hello.” Not the best start.
We both ordered burgers, but they were pretty disappointing—small, salty, and dry. My wife swapped her fries for a lettuce wedge (a $2.50 upcharge), and I asked if I could get a wedge in addition to my fries. The bartender said sure, but it took him about eight minutes to bring it out… which was odd, considering we were the only customers left by then.
The real surprise came with the bill. My lettuce wedge was somehow an $8.50 upcharge. When I questioned it, the bartender just shrugged and said that’s how it is, and there was nothing he could do. That’s a pretty wild charge for a dive bar.
I used to come here once in a while, but after this—and it’s not even the first bad visit—I’m done. This experience sealed the deal. Never coming back.

Had a friend in town and went for burgers and didn’t realize they were having a huge celebration. Oops. But they still seated us. Can’t really comment on the actual daily service because of the event we just maid sure to order whatever we could for drinks as the waitress flew by… overall though they handled the extreme volume like champs. The food was a long wait but we had fun visiting during the wait and got to enjoy some concert activity outside before and after the meal. The burgers here are tasty and so are all the sides. The location is not far from a little bench overlooking the river falls kiddy corner from the restaurant. I’m sure we will visit again to try more of the full menu as it was limited for the event.

– Maple Brandy Old Fashioned is delicious; had two of them and they both were made consistently and went down easily
– Better Mac (burger) is messy to eat but is made perfectly; tender burger that’s seasoned well, the bun was soft and fluffy, and the pickle chips are worthy of being eaten on their own.
– Tater tots (side) were seasoned well, perfectly crispy, and a nice contrast to the mess created from attempting to eat the Better Mac with dignity
Overall, it was a great place to quash the borderline hanger my wife was about to enter into and I can confidently recommend coming here!
