Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. Friendly staff greeted me when I came in, place was clean and they took my order and made sandwiches fast and everyone had smiles and was very welcoming. Food was good price was fair for the size of the sandwiches which I got a giant size and it was great for a couple meals.

Normally, I love Jersey Mike’s and consistently receive great customer service, which is why this visit stood out. I came in on 2/24/26 around 8:00pm, and there were two gentlemen working. Unfortunately, I was never greeted, and when it was my turn to order, the employee taking my order didn’t write anything down even though I mentioned I had a few modifications.
As a result, my sandwich was missing both the chipotle mayo and lettuce that I specifically requested. The second employee who rang me up also appeared disengaged and unfriendly, and there was little to no communication throughout the interaction. When I received my sandwich, I said “thank you,” but didn’t receive any acknowledgment in return.
I’ve visited this location many times and have previously interacted with the manager, who is always professional and welcoming. That’s why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope this feedback helps ensure future visits reflect the level of service I’ve come to expect from this location. The older of the two gentleman working the closing shift on 2/24/26 should be addressed.

I came in at at 8:50. I’ve worked at a deli and managed a deli before and someone coming in at closing is always like “damn” but he didn’t have that attitude at all. He’s helped me before and I usually don’t do reviews, but when someone is all about the customer and the customer experience I have to give a major shout out. Not too many young adults have any sort of common sense when it comes to customer service so it was very refreshing to get that at Jersey Mikes in Petaluma from Antonio! Give that young man a raise. Who ever the manager is, you have a good employee at this location. Like I mentioned I’ve managed various businesses and he has the right attitude! Again, give him a raise!!!
Oh and the sandwich is fire! Add the Mike’s Hot Honey and Chipotle to any sandwich

Tasty, substantial sandwiches—quality meats and delicious whole wheat bread. We split a JM’s Club—turkey, ham, provolone, applewood smoked bacon & mayo.

We order here about once a week through the app and it’s always correct, fresh and delicious! The pickup is very convenient. The customer service is great and everyone here has been very kind and helpful. One time, I made a mistake when ordering on the app and selected the wrong bread. I called right away and they fixed my error, not a problem. I’ve been ordering the california club sub because it’s cheaper than ordering a #7 and adding avocados, but I don’t eat bacon. I always request bacon on the side so I can feed it to my dog. They have honored my request every time and I just wanted to say thank you. It’s very sweet and I appreciate it so much.

Workers are working hard. But if you get an Italian combo, which is supposed to be provolone and 5 meats. When you get it, it’s 90% ham and they ALWAYS forget a meat. What they call cappacuolo, never makes it onto the sandwich. All ham and a single slice of everything else if you’re lucky for them to remember every meat. Always one meat short.
When they make your sandwich make sure you watch and guarantee that every meat and cheese makes it.

It’s a chain subway shop in a strip mall. Lower your expectations, be prepared to pay $12 for a regular sized sub, and you’ll enjoy your meal.

Amazingly tasty sandwiches, but don’t order online! I’ve had many orders made wrong when special instructions are included.
In store, employees are very polite and friendly. Service is fairly quick if you come in and place your order. I usually get the club sub on Parmesan/rosemary bread with mayo and cherry pepper relish spread. They slice the meat and cheese right in front of you as they make your sandwich, which is a nice touch to convey the freshness of their ingredients.
If you are planning on taking your sandwich home, ask for “the juice” on the side! They’ll give you vinegar and olive oil separated in two small containers. Combine and pour over the inside of your sandwich when you’re ready to eat, and you won’t have any soggy bread!

I went in around 7pm on a Monday for 3 sandwiches for dinner. Not only was I in and out in less than 10 minutes, but the staff was so nice! The sweet lady with the glasses and what I think was pink hair tucked up under her hat helped me. I ordered a cheesesteak, a chicken bacon ranch and a number 8, and they were all delicious! She made them all exactly the way I ordered them! And she was fast and super friendly! The staff seemed to be enjoying thier work, as they were smiling in the kitchen as well as at customers. Plus the store was very clean! I’ve worked in a Deli and I know how difficult it is to keep the floor clean during a rush. 10/10 for food, 10/10 for speed and 10000/10 for cuetomer service. They were all just so nice!

Another failed sandwich shop sandwiches are good but this location is already being run to the ground no one is wearing name tags the sandwich assembly line is a complete mess and unsanitary being kept the team member making sandwiches didn’t even ask me is if I wanted all fixing and just started by pounding the lettuce on it which my mother can not eat at this time because of medical issue he then had the audacity to ask me what condition this is instead of paying attention on the accuracy of the task at hand which is my sandwiches that are absolutely not free and I expect to be made efficiently and properly the manager already needs to go, could not even tell if one was present based on the mad house I suggest writing the orders down for accuracy and it absolutely doesn’t hurt to smile this is not forced labor if you work their part of the job is customer service. Never again at this location I hope the Santa Rosa is owned by someone else or else that one is a no go for me too I look for not only good foot but good service and appreciated business.
