I think the restaurant could benefit from being a bit more organized, which would really help with efficiency. I waited about 25 minutes for my food. While waiting, I noticed the two guys cooking seemed a little lost in the order of tickets. The woman at the counter was busy juggling phone orders, walk-ins, and DoorDash pickups — and it was clear the lunch rush hit fast.
When I arrived, there were only a couple of guests waiting, but they ended up waiting even longer than I did. One of the cooks had to stop cooking to come from behind the counter to deliver their food to the table.
I ordered a Fattoush Salad with breaded chicken. The salad was made fresh, and the chicken was cooked to order, which I appreciated. However, I wasn’t a fan of the ranch dressing — it tasted a bit watered down and didn’t add much flavor.
Overall, the food was fresh, but the service and organization could use some improvement — especially during the lunch rush.
The food taste – aside from still adding pickles despite telling the register girl and it being written on receipt – saved the overall stars from being a 1 star to a 2 star overall…
Just went today for the first time ever. I am conflicted to go back as their food quality was excellent aside from their chefs totally disregarding ‘no pickles’ on my two chicken Shwarmas…
Walked inside on around 3:40 pm, Monday. The order employee’s name on my receipt is Jhon, but not sure if that’s the name of who was punched in because the cashier was a female and Jhon seems like a male name.
I told her it was my first time and said nothing. No recommendation for the menu or any type of warm welcome.
The wait time for the food was 25 minutes and I only wish I was exaggerating. Paid at 3:44 and go text receipt, takeout bag was passed to me at 4:09… Yikes. The cherry on top was the cashier girl not even saying thank you or “thank you for your patience”. Either coincidentally my first time was during a rush hour and thus the sloppiness of all the employees or I struck a low-quality experience.
Like other reviews say: if you have the luxury of time to wait in person for your takeout bag, go for it! Or perhaps dine-in (they have a petite diner like seating booth). Definitely a good place to get food and sit down with a friend to catch up.
Picture proof of receipt showing no pickles and getting home and realizing the chefs botched my two chicky Shwarmees… (see the green pickle sticking out of the Shwarma opening)
The service is good, although it’s all pretty much up at the counter where you pick up your food and drinks. The restaurant itself is nothing to shout about but when I was there it was nice and quiet and that’s what we needed at the time. The staff is nice and they tolerate dumb questions very well. The price is also very reasonable. I’ve only ever had the chicken shawarma bowl so I can’t speak to their other items, but I highly recommend this place.
