Order #82 at 1:23 pm on 2/12/26. I ordered salmon kebab. I requested sumac for my Shirazi, however, the Sumac was light brown & stale. I asked for a different packet, but it looked the same. I asked for the mgr to tell him the sumac was old/stale. He told me sumac is always brown, so I googled a picture of sumac to show fresh sumac is purple, or at least a darker red. The mgr rudely accused me of always having a complaint every time I come, which was shocking because I don’t come here. He was loud & dismissed me as if I were not worthy of his respect. This is not how you treat customers. There were people watching his performance & it was embarrassing. I live over 50 miles away, so he & I both knew he was lying. I’ve eaten here maybe 3-4x in my life, the last would have been before Covid (2020). I asked for the number to corporate & he reprinted the receipt, pointing to the restaurant’s phone number. I called immediately & someone answered the phone while I was looking. I asked for the number to corporate again & he told me to use the QR code on my receipt. Still very dismissive. At this point I will never eat here again.

Massis Kabob… I purposefully stayed hungry so I would enjoy this meal more. We got the beef koubideh with chicken breast barg, as well as a side of gyro and the shirazi salad. Comes with white rice only. Soooo good, but the best part was definitely the chicken. I am not usually a fan of chicken, but it ended up being my favorite thing—super juicy and tender, with a flavor that beats the beef.

I ordered the Idaho boneless trout it was excellent in every way: Flavor, portion price. It was a savory sumptuous treat I will be going back for more. After I placed my order, I wanted a sample of some babaganuska but the staff refused even after I showed him my receipt. With that being said it was when the best meal to ha’s in a long time thank you very much.

The lamb meat was quality, good, and cooked well. The rest (the sides) were dull, dry and no hummus or tahini came with the plate.

Looking for a quick bite to eat while in the mall this week. I made a big mistake! The team at this location seemed somewhat rude, or like they didn’t want to be at work that day, or something. Regardless the service was poor. Took forever to place my order, forever to receive my order, and the food quality was not good. I got a Gyro that basically fell apart when I opened it. Had no taste whatsoever. It was a decent size – but just had no taste. Wasn’t worth the price, wait, or poor service it came with. Just a bad meal all around. If you are in Culver City choose more wisely than so did!

I came to this Massis Kabob at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd #3266 Culver City CA 90230 to eat lunch.
I ordered Cornish Game Hen (barbeque chicken) with rice.
The rice smelled bad (sign of not been properly/enough soaked in water nor washed).
Research shows that soaking rice overnight reduces arsenic levels in the rice by 80% and reduces the chances of heart diseases, diabetes and cancer.
The amount of salt in the rice was way over normal. There were also many big chunks of rice (sign of fresh rice mixed with old rice).
The rice was not fully cooked and was hard.
The chickens were overcooked/burnt and were very dried and did not smell/taste good nor fresh. Be advised that overcooking makes food harder to digest and metabolize. Charred and burnt foods contain carcinogenic substances.
Picture No. 15 on the menu (Cornish Game Hen) was totaly different from the reality.
The amount of salt in the chicken was also way over normal!
Price was expensive and not justified!

The food was cooked to order & there’s a waiting time.You will be given an electronic device that will flash &vibrate when your order is ready. I checked out the stores & gift shops near by to burn time while my other was being prepared.Great Customer Service, Freshly cooked food, the waiting time was the only struggle for me.There’s plenty onsite free parking available at this location &several other restaurants to choose from.
