The food was NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! ( well, the waffle was ok). The potatoes were hard and under cooked and it seemed like they gave me the old scrap pieces of bacon because they the small and hard as hell. It was our first time eating there, needless to say we will never go there again. I felt like I threw $30 in the trash because thats where the food belongs

Found on BLAPP, a couple of young ladies starting a small restaurant. Was worried they weren’t getting traffic because of location but it filled up by 11am. Top five breakfast potatoes IMO.

First time trying this place. Walked in and wasn’t greeted. We sat down and a waitress came over. Asked for 2 waters and was given 2 bottled waters. Placed the order and the food came out FRESH and HOT. Only complaint was the omelette was fried a little too hard and the scrapple was think and cooked hard. Waitress wasn’t that attentive, but overall she was ok. There were some dirty tables that should have been cleaned, but wasn’t. I think a second visit is in order.

They have a decent breakfast, we had salmon cakes, I would be willing to go try something else because you truly cannot beat the customer service. The two ladies that helped us were so accommodating. The owner came over to speak. It was my first time going but My husband says the place has been around for years and he’s always patronized them.

5 stars all around….been going to this place for 15 years or more. Name changes, management changes but I always get great food. The sweet tea is always on point, pancakes always light & fluffy……I’m heading there right now. Definitely give this neighborhood staple a try. Really the best valued breakfast around.

I placed an order 12/14/2025, Through the mobile app as I arrived there were 3-5 other people waiting outside as the door was LOCKED and nobody was there. there was no sign, nothing. Money has been taken out of my account and now I cannot contact anybody to even get my money back as nobody is there! This is ridiculous and the website clearly states open until 4pm. I am not sure who has taken over this company but I have never had this problem, ever. until now. Crazy.

I was a customer of the other steak n a sack in Temple Hills and loved going there. Not sure if this is the same management but I would say they need help in the customer service area. I called an order in and went to pick it up. No one greeted or acknowledged me for about 7-9 minutes! The guy taking phone orders was sitting in a booth with his legs across the seat looking annoyed. He didn’t move until the phone rang and he took the order and went to sit back down. Again, no service was offered. Finally a young lady asked (over loud music) if I was picking up. I said yes, and gave my name. I ordered 2 western omelets, 2 orders of home fries (fried hard), and an order of French toast. The home fries were lacking any crunch and was small when you look at the menu photos. The omelette was small was well but flavorful. The French toast was soggy and dark with no powdered sugar! I would not order again. The best thing was the omelet. I noticed the sign that read once the food is cooked , no refunds. If it wasn’t an issue there would be no need to post this sign. I’m all about patronizing small black business but this place is more like steak in a hole (in my opinion) I think they need better customer service and more attention to their food details, as well as the place overall. Not sure if I would return.
