Came here because was told food was great. From the start things were horrible. The girl at the counter knew nothing about the food or what it comes with or if was able to come in a combo plate. On the outside window said quesabirria, so ordered that, couldn’t get it in a combo. With falutas she asked how many I wanted in my combo, never seen those alacart before… along with a horchata fountain drink and chips/salsa. Drink has no ice even though I asked for it. Chips were burnt and had a bad taste. When my quesabirria arrived they looked like quesadillas, never seen them prepared this way ever, although did have good taste, the flautas were not good and smallest i ever seen! Music was on static the entire time they didn’t seem to care what customers were listening to and lights were constantly flashing off and on. Disappointed will not return

Back in the day, the food used to taste good. It could be because the cook is not the same but the recipes should be consistent. You pay for you food at the counter and seat yourself. They bring the food out to you when it’s ready and that’s it. The chips were very stale and hard. Salsa is good though. One of my favorites. The place looks clean, just outdated and the seats were warped in the booth I sat in. The place can use a face lift and the recipes need some work and this place could make a great comeback.

I have been eating take out from here for 13+ years. In the past few years the food quality has declined. Today I ordered a super Carne asada burrito. It was so salty, that I had a hard time eating it. Also the Carne asada was so over cooked that it was like chicharron! I eat my meat medium, so this was terrible for me. I live 2 minutes away and this is the reason I always kept coming back, but I may have to drive farther for better burritos.

Simply my favorite restaurant. The green sauce at the sauce bar is fantastic with anything, and while I love their tacos, quesadillas, and tortas, the wet burrito supreme with salsa verde and pollo asada is my current favorite. They also have excellent horchata, jamaica, and michelada. Definite recommendation.
