I go to bagel biz multiple times a week for years. I used to love this place but it seems quality is going way down. Today i ordered an egg sandwich and there were hairs inside of my sandwich . They were caked inside the egg and this is extremely unsanitary . Prices keep raising while quality is lowering .

I strongly encourage customers to be aware of what is taking place behind the register. There is a serious sanitation violation that is unacceptable and would result in immediate termination under proper food safety standards. I spoke with the manager, Joe, to report that I observed a young employee pick up a receipt from the floor and then use the same unsanitary glove to handle and cut a bagel. I had to step in and ask the employee to stop and change his gloves, as this behavior was clearly unsanitary and visible to customers. Additionally, I waited 30 minutes just to place my order, and two of my items were rung up incorrectly. While Joe did correct the order errors, his response as a manager was ineffective. He stated that it was the employee’s second day, but regardless of tenure, whether two days or ten years that is a violation!

I absolutely LOVE this bagel shop. The fact that they make their bagels in-house really shows – they’re always fresh and are honestly the best bagels I’ve ever had. I go to Biz almost every day for an egg and cheese on a bagel, and the quality is always consistent.
On top of the food, the people make this place special. Joe and Tea are the BEST — always friendly, welcoming, and it’s genuinely a pleasure seeing them whenever I stop in (which is FREQUENT lol). Great food and great people – can’t ask for more. Highly recommend! ☺️

I’m a regular and have been unable to come in for the past couple weeks. I stopped in today Wanting my regular bagel. I was really shocked to see how tiny the bagels were. I’m not talking Oh just a couple of them were really small. I’m talking the entire bunch were the smallest bagels I’ve ever seen. So prices get increased and the bagels get ridiculously small? And it’s not even a small difference I’m talking an extremely noticeable difference in size. They almost look like mini bagels. Maybe it’s an off day and someone new is making them? I’m not sure but I’ll have to check it out again and see what’s going on.

it’s so unfortunate that I have to write this very bad review. my friend had ordered food from here and it looked absolutely delicious so I was so excited about my coming here, however, I did not expect to be treated with such disrespect, I would rather starve and melt on the sidewalk than ever spend my money here or buy something else to eat. You’re better off going to the Dunkin’ Donuts down the block because the lady in there is so nice and respectful and is at least nice to other humans.. this boy was just so rude, then laughs in my face… maybe they should hire people that grow up learning manners and respect like every other human beings, instead of just hiring young boys.. smh

This is my first stop when I come to New York twice a month. Usually the product is amazing today they had a new person working the line and it took 23 minutes to get two bagels with veggie cream cheese; a scoop of Baked Salmon salad and a white fish on an egg everything. Than we started eating the white fish it was overdone with salt and mayo where normally it tastes fresh and you leave waning more today I threw half of it away. Hope this isn’t the new normal.

My go to spot for bagels. Everything you look for in a bagel: crisp and crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior. They are always perfectly cooked and fresh. Lunch food is also solid, but I usually gravitate towards breakfast or just bagels here. Usually a long line, especially during peak hours but staff is so efficient and wait is never crazy. Can always order ahead for pickup if you can’t wait. P.S. love their branding

Pulled in for my usual order (sesame bagel, scooped, toasted, scallion cream cheese, sliced nova, tomato) and read reviews before going inside. Almost passed due to some highly critical reviews, but noticed (a)these were outliers and (b)the owner replies to all, showing he cares. Decided to go anyway and glad I did. Excellent bagel with generous portions and excellent service! Zero sign of overpricing or service issues. Payment terminal doesn’t even prompt you for tip, which is always so awkward. Clearly, the bad reviews are coming from disgruntled former employees or competitors (or both). I normally don’t post reviews, but since I rely myself on Google reviews so heavily, I felt the need to correct the record. Great LI bagel shop. Now you know!

Pretty much the best bagels I’ve been able to find in Suffolk County. Everyone who is friendly, the staff is helpful and responsive, spacious even though there’s no seating at the current time I still feel like there’s more than enough room to space everyone out. Everything then we taste pretty damn close to perfect and I’ve been trying to recommend other people in the area to try pretty much From their menu.

Went early morning to get the breakfast. Bagels taste good so was the coffee. Staff is very nice and listening, how you need your order. Service is quick.
Restaurant is very clean and they have lots of choice to choose your food.
Definitely will go back again.
