1st time here tonight and omg it’s such a cute little restaurant. 1st I would like to point out how friendly the staff is. My waitress was a girl I didn’t get her I’ll get it next time but she was so friendly and gave excellent service. ☺️ so sweet. There was a male waiter as well and he was so kind and checked on us as well. The food was extremely good I got fajitas
Typical I know but ugh so good I like mine cooked a little extra and they served just perfect. We also ordered the burrito Guajillo. You must try that burrito. We shall be back more often. Found us a little run away restaurant.

Me and my spouse ordered carnitas in salsa verde and it was a great option! The pork with a little bit of (mild) spicy green salsa was a hit ! The cheese dip also had a little kick to it which we very much enjoyed . Great food and great environment . Will be back.

Edit ;
Guajillo’s is no longer here, it is now Potrillo. We had called ahead before the google listing was changed for the new name, because it said “permanently closed” for Guajillo’s. Asked if the store was open and they said yes, then we came in not knowing the restaurant and menu had changed. Wasn’t super happy to see menu changes included removal of some great options, and while the food was good, I personally am not going to return to this location myself. Pictures below are of food from Guajillo’s not Potrillo 🙁

We love Guajillo’s!!! Came here to try things out, and were NOT disappointed! Boyfriend is a Texas native and got spoiled by good Mexican food surrounded by it in Dallas. Ever since he’s come to Burlington it’s been hard to scratch that same itch and get quality Mexican food like what he’s used to; but Guajillo’s is what Burlington needed (Try the tamales, the masa is excellent!). The service was fantastic, you can tell everyone really cares about what they do here and want you to enjoy your meal. It’s a super cute spot with fun music, great drinks, awesome people and delicious food!

A small little establishment, soon as I walked in I was greeted was able to pick my seating. I was attended to very well. The salsa was lacking seasoning, had to add hot sauce to spice it up. The waitress was a sweetheart and bought over two others for me to try which was better. Ordered the steak fries which were good. Also ordered the chicken enchilada which was lacking flavor but still over all good once you added salsa to it. I will return the staff was great over all.

This place offers the best Mexican food in town along with delicious drinks. The Margarita specials are perfection and we always have fantastic service. Last time they offered us a complimentary sauce tasting. The decor is A+, it’s such a cute vibe. Please check out this new business and offer them support, they’re a new staple for me!

MUST TRY. My husband and I came here for date night and the margaritas are amazing and strong! Just how I like them. I had the rubens quesadilla and my husband had the Birria Burrito. Both were delicious and full of flavor. The menu has a wide variety of different options. They stand out from your typical Mexican restaurant. Our waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

We went on a Sunday about 8pm after some shopping. The service was great the waitress was very attentive throughout the whole time we were there very friendly! The price for what we orderd was high and the quality of food was not great, I had tacos the tortillas were homemade so that was great the carne asada was dry needed some some flavor or seasoning in it, I had one al pastor taco it was okay. My daughter had Birria burrito it was also pretty good. My husband had gorditas de asada but he didn’t like at all, to top it all off one gorditas was $12.00, he had 2 so that was $24.00! I thought that was insane, normally we pay anything around $5-$8, so that was way overpriced. The aguas frescas I also think are overpriced, $6.99 for each. Normally should be $3-$4. Not the hype I expected especially not for the price either, $100 on 3 tacos,1 burrito and 2 gorditas!

I came in today for lunch. Waitress was nice & very attentive. The only thing I wanted done extra was my veggies to be cooked longer, they were still a little crunchy, I like my vegetables done. And for my takeout fajitas they put everything in one plate. Please put the guacamole & sour cream in separate cups next time please. You can’t heat those 2 items up.

Ate here for the first time this evening (Monday Dec 1st). I’ve eaten at probably every Mexican Restaurant around Burlington since I’ve been here, 8 years. This was by far the best I’ve had in the area. Great flavor, large portions and everything was fresh. Every bite I took of my Chimichanga had multiple overlapping flavors, it was quite a culinary adventure. Everyone else in our party was saying the same thing. We tried each others dishes and we all laughed because each was so good. We’ll definitely be back.
