Great Coal region fire house bar! Great food! Just tried the open face chicken sandwich for the first time this past Monday. It was fantastic! Could only eat half of it because the portion was so big. For 8 bucks you can’t go wrong!

The live band was great. All the food was fresh and hot. The only disappointment was they had no bleenies, potato cakes. We were told they couldn’t get anyone to do them. I know it’s labor intensive. I grew up helping my elder Polish aunts to prepare for St. Joseph’s block party in Shamokin. I can only hope our community will pull together to make them next year. I’d be happy to lend a hand.
