I ordered a few pizzas to go and arrived early with my grandson. Their kitchen is open to the dining area so to kill the time we were able to watch our pizzas being made. What a treat. We witnessed them adding coal to their VERY deep pizza oven. Multiple pizzas are put together on the unique pizza paddles with 12 foot long handles. The pizzas turned out great. That were handed to us straight out of the oven!!

One of the best pizzas I must have eaten. The ingredients are fresh and sauce / cheese combination was just perfect. Originally from New Haven, CT, the pizza capital of United States but I tried this next to Harvard Campus. Fresh tomatoes pizza is only offered during summer and is definitely worth a try once.

I am a New Haven Pizza afficionado and superfan, having grown up in Southern CT. Pepe’s is my favorite spot down there, and I’ve been no less than 50 times. This Watertown, MA location was one of the biggest culinary disappointments I can ever remember. The bacon was completely raw and uncooked and the dough was so so dense and hard, and THICK. Additionally the top of the pizza was so wet the cheese just fell right off. Not at ALL like the Pepe’s that I grew up with and fell in love with. If you like New Haven pizza and the OG Pepe’s, be sure to stay away from this location to avoid significant disappointment.

Frank Pepe always hits har no matter what location!! Seasonal tomato pizza for the win. Coal fired brick oven pizza says it all!! The waitress was very respectful with a beautiful smile. I wish there was a Frank Pepe’s in Worcester,, Massachusetts because our city would absolutely love it and probably put a few pizza places out of business. Every pizza here is unique and will leave a smile on your face. What are you waiting for stop by ASAP!!

I think we are in a pizza coma. It sure was fabulous. They bake their crust using a coal-fired oven. It is perfection – thin and crispy – like we like it. Instead of tomato sauce, they use only fresh tomatoes which I love because that allows the ultra-thin sliced pepperoni, Italian sausage and bacon to shine. We also had onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, plus mozzarella on our pizza. The Italian salad was great too. The best oil and vinegar dressing with crisp, cold greens and veggies. Service was superb.

Service was ok, not busy but it took a while for our pizza to arrive (we had to ask). Shrimp pizza was not hot and had little toppings cheese or sauce. Meat pizza was hot and greasy and the crust was black and the edges overcooked. I just looked at the pictures in the other reviews and ours is by far overcooked. We ordered a small shrimp and a larger meat pizza-shrimp pizza probably sat around till the larger pizza was done. Overpriced and overcooked DRY DRY DRY pizza; do not recommend. We all agreed-waste of time and money. Because of the cost we took the leftovers back to our apartment-ended up throwing it out.

My pizza look a little longer than usual. I am not sure why, but I was waiting in D person at the front cashier Was so nice and she even gave me a free dessert because I was patiently waiting. I am not even going to mention how cute and nice. The person was. She was great and very big smile on her face. Welcoming you very warmly. I love this place and I get my pizza only from here and I have to say they have the best customer service and the best Staff. If you haven’t got their pizza, please run and thank you for the tiramisu today. Xxx

The area was very welcoming and roomy. Very clean and a lot of room when seated.

The staff is very professional and friendly. They do not rush you and they accommodate you greatly.

My salad was good, very good actually. Between 1 and 5, I would say 5.

My pizza was great, wasn’t too heavy or too light, just right. Nothing wrong with some good pizza. The taste was rich, the crust was just right. The meat was great also (pause).

The pricing was fair, I will attend again, with my friend Raphael.
