This is the best pizza in Dallas, and probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve been to the original location in NYC, and I always hoped they’d come to my hometown. I was thrilled when the Dallas location opened up, and was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the quality is completely on par with the NYC location. I’ve tried a lot of different options here, and all are great. The standouts for me are the Mercer Margarita grandma style slice, the Spicy Vodka, and the Spicy Spring. You will not be disappointed, whatever you try. The service is also always great, and they are super friendly. We love going during off hours so we can sit on their great patio, which is actually pretty spacious for such a small storefront. This is basically my favorite place to eat, and I cannot recommend it more highly.

Prince Street Pizza Dallas delivers a decent product, but overall it feels overhyped for what you get.

I tried both the regular slice and the deep dish. The regular slice was fine, but it lacked salt and came across a bit flat. Compared to Joe’s Pizza in New York City, it didn’t stand out as exceptional or particularly memorable.

The deep dish was okay—filling, but noticeably greasy. Some people may enjoy that style, but for me it leaned more toward heavy than indulgent.

Service was acceptable but nothing special. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, just not especially welcoming. The overall experience felt slightly disorganized, which took away from the flow of ordering and pickup.

The pricing is hard to justify. Paying around $21 for three slices feels expensive given the quality and portion relative to other solid pizza options in Dallas. You’re paying a premium for the name more than the execution.

One bright spot is their custom white dipping sauce, which is genuinely good and adds something extra to the pizza. Still, even with that, there are better choices in the area that offer more balance, consistency, and value.

Overall, Prince Street Pizza Dallas is okay. Worth trying once if you’re curious, but between the grease, the price, and the hype, it’s not a place I’d go out of my way to revisit.

I like Grimaldis and Pie Tap better tbh.

As a New Yorker living in Dallas, one of the hardest things for me has been finding food that truly captures that real New York flavor — especially pizza. There’s just something about the water, the dough, and the way it’s cooked back home that’s hard to replicate. But Prince Street Pizza Dallas comes closer than anyone else has.

This spot is an extension of the original NYC location, and as soon as I took my first bite, I could tell they’ve done their homework. I’d rate the NY authenticity an 8 out of 10 — the flavor is almost spot-on, and while the crispiness isn’t quite there yet, it’s close enough to make me nostalgic.

I ordered The OG, Pepperoni, and Meat Lovers slices. The Pepperoni easily takes the crown — thick, spicy, and perfectly cheesy, it was the closest to that signature New York slice I’ve missed so much. The others could use a touch more oven time to hit that perfect crunch, but the taste was on point.

We went during opening week, so the lines were long — about a 2-hour wait — but honestly, it was worth it. The staff handled the rush well, and the energy was great. I’ll definitely be coming back in a couple of months once they’ve fully settled in, but for now, this was the closest I’ve felt to being back home in New York.

If you’re from NYC or just appreciate authentic New York–style pizza, Prince Street Pizza in Dallas is a must-visit.

I’d rate Prince Street Pizza a solid 4/5. The pizza is genuinely very good, and it definitely lives up to much of the hype. I tried “The Naughty Pie” and really enjoyed it — the thick, square slice has a great texture and bold flavor. It’s a hearty, deep-style slice with a soft interior. That said, it’s not exactly what I picture when I think of a classic New York slice, so it may surprise you if that’s what you’re expecting. It is on the expensive side, but considering how large and filling each slice is, the price feels fair. The atmosphere is also very nice and makes it an enjoyable spot to sit and eat. Overall, a great experience and worth trying.

As a fellow New Yorker, I had to stop by Prince St. Pizza in Dallas right after they opened — and man, it felt like a slice of home.

I’ve been going to the original Prince Street spot in NYC for years, and their Spicy Spring Sicilian has always been one of my all-time favorites. That slightly spicy marinara, those perfectly cupped pepperonis that collect the oil as they crisp and char, and that crunchy edge on the Sicilian crust — it’s perfection.

Dallas, you’re lucky. They nailed it here. The texture, the flavor, even that signature little kick — everything tastes just like the original in SoHo. The pepperoni Sicilian still steals the show. I also tried the meat lovers, which was solid, but trust me — save yourself from all else and go straight for the Spicy Spring Sicilian. That’s the one that made Prince St. famous for a reason.

The shop itself gives off that classic NYC vibe — brick walls, framed photos, and that “I’m gonna make you a pizza you can’t refuse” poster says it all. I love that they brought that energy and authenticity to Texas.

If you know good pizza — real New York pizza — this is the spot. Welcome to Dallas, Prince St. Pizza. You did it right.

1st time trying and did not disappoint. We came all the from Denton to try. Pizza was fresh and crispy. Only thing they were sold out of mozzarella sticks and cookies but next time we will have try.

The pizza was pretty good, you can tell they use quality ingredients and the crust had that nice New York-style chew.

My only complaint is that it wasn’t as hot as it should’ve been coming out of the oven. Also, just a heads-up they only have outdoor seating, so plan accordingly if it’s too hot or cold outside. Overall, a decent slice, but I wish it came out hotter and there were some indoor seating options.

Admittedly, i stopped by on a bad night (NYE), but they were pretty much sold out of everything (slices for quick grab and go) and new order was an hour wait. That being said, a spicy vodka pizza had just gotten out of the oven so i ordered a slice of that, and it was allegedly a popular option — wasn’t impressed. The crust and bottom were crispy and and not too dense (not exactly airy or fluffy though) but the sauce just wasn’t hitting. I wish i could have ordered the pizza i wanted but whatever i did try didn’t inspire me to wait an hour for their pizza. It wasn’t bad, per se, but not something I’d go out of my way for and not something I’d come back to try. Also, they only have outdoor seating and the price could be a little nicer all things considered.

Prince St of Dallas is decent. My pizza was okay. I got the popular Naughty Pie and I was let down truthfully. My pizza was WARM not hot. MY single slice was very small barely taking up the box it came in. So small that it literally only had 4 pepperoni pieces. The thick square crust tasted undercooked. Flavor wise I was underwhelmed. The spicy honey didn’t really kick it up like I had hoped and it tasted almost bland truthfully. I loved the NOT RANCH sauce, that really elevated the struggling pizza. I’m upset that my pizza was small and looked nothing like the influencer viral videos on TikTok which were HUGE slices. If there’s preferential for influencers that is upsetting. I hope that isn’t the case. Staff was good and efficient. Space was a bit too small and there was a line, it took 20+ mins to get inside. Thankfully they have heaters in their outdoor areas so you can sit even when it’s cold to eat your pizza. Overall unimpressed as a NYC staple should have better tasting pizza.

For the gluten-free folks:

Don’t come here for fantastic gluten-free pizza. You won’t find it here! Toppings were great and the dough was actually decent, but in the way they prepared the pizza, the sauce and cheese just slid right off. It’s almost as if they cooked the dough and then in the last 5 minutes they added the cheese & toppings.

When I used to eat gluten, I never had this issue with Prince St pizza. The normal pizza is fantastic!
