Today was our first time trying this place and we all enjoyed our meals at Smokin Qs! All of our entrees were delicious. The service was very attentive and the interior was adorable. We started out trying to sit on the patio but had to move inside due to an aggressive bee . Haha The patio is very nice though!
Here is the run down of what we had:
Me: BBQ chicken quesadilla off of the appetizer menu as my meal minus the onions and pickles. It was DELICIOUS! I also had the brisket poutine. I enjoyed this as well but my eyes were bigger than my stomach.
My husband: Chef Z’s Fat Burger, 2 skinny patties, BBQ pulled pork, Shiner braised onions, American, mustard aioli, slaw, house pickles. His burger looked amazing and he said it was the best burger he has gotten in a long time. As his side, he had gotten the Fried Corn ( Cotija, chipotle, cilantro). This was good in terms of flavor because it is similar to elote but was not warm.
Stepson #1: had the pulled pork sandwich and ate the whole thing! He is our picky eater so this was fantastic! He had fries as his side.
Stepson #2: Had the combo platter with brisket and pulled pork and Mac n cheese as his side. He ate all of his food.
We also got the following sides to share:
Baked Bean (cassoulet) – this was the biggest miss of the entire meal in my opinion. It had a strange flavor to it that I can’t put my finger on.
Mac n cheese – this was just a meh for us. It was somewhat bland.
Cornbread- absolutely delicious! Almost tasted like it had lemon or something in it.
We also got desserts. Three brownies and the German chocolate cake. Next time we will likely pass on the desserts just because we were wayyyyy too full at the end of this meal.
We will definitely be back to try more menu items! Thank you, Smokin Qs!

This place is absolutely amazing. Intimate vibes and very quick food service. The draft beer selection is a little bit of everything. We tried it for the first time Friday night and actually came back Saturday because there were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try. The options of the sides alone is enough to keep coming back every day. The cornbread, rice, and sweet potatoes are the only ones we have tried so far and they were a GREAT portion and delicious. This is a BBQ joint but I’ve had fish both nights – the breading on the shrimp and the fish is SO GOOD. Literally give this place a try there is no way you won’t be able to find something you love on this menu. On top of that – the prices are super reasonable for the amount and quality of food provided!

A classic beer pub restaurant that has outstanding food. They hang their hat on their barbecue but don’t be afraid of the rest of the menu. The service we received was outstanding. The food was even better. Wifey got ribs and a sampler plate I did the special of the day which happened to be chili cheese fries. The fries were all hand cut from real potatoes and covered with great queso and bacon and chili and I have not had a better meal in a long time. We stumbled upon this place. We live about 50 mi from there and just happened to be in the area to attend a open house for a home that was being built and wrap it off on behalf of St Jude foundation. On the way home we wanted a little nosh and decided to give them a try. Probably the best decision I made all week. I highly recommend them if you’re ever in the area.

Went there to have some steaks and briskets, which i did and found just great! What was even better their taco’s. I had the pick 2 where I chose the Brisket and 1/4 chicken! As for the great Taco’s, we got El Cow, Los Birdie and the Texas Cheesesteak, and three were just great! A place you have to go to when in Mayfield-Cleveland!

Hire more staff or fix your kitchen made 6 people late back to work with no compensation

Delicious – our server was Austin, he was super helpful with our food questions, as well as making me a fresh jalapeno margarita. The wings are crispy & the cauliflower was flavorful. We ordered the two meat plates so we could try different items. Their shrimp are fried in their own mix which contains rice crispies & their tartar sauce is one of the BEST I’ve ever had (mango tartar sauce). We enjoyed everything we ordered. Ribs, brisket, jalapeno sausage, fried shrimp, & definitely recommend the mac n cheese

My husband and I went here for Valentine’s day and everything was fantastic! We had the poutine and the pick 4 with burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork, and chicken with cornbread she mac and cheese for sides. The ribs fell off the bone, the chicken was juicy, the pulled pork had great flavor, and the burnt ends were amazing! We’re already discussing what we’ll have next time we go!

This could be the best BBQ I’ve had… Anywhere. The brisket, pulled pork and spare rids are… Out. Of. This. World! Corn bread with black pepper honey butter… Like give me a break! So good!!! Crispy brussel sprouts with a horseradish creme… Omg… Mouth watering. It’s small and warm… The atmosphere is like you’ve been there a hundred times before… An absolute gem!

A cute little hide away. The food was delicious. And the margaritas hit the spot. I mange to come on Taco Tuesday, so all tacos was $3 and the margarita was $5. I got three tacos, the polish taco, a shrimp one, and a cheesestake. Best decision ever.
