2nd time here. 1st time trying something different and both times not satisfied. This 2nd time takes the cake.
Cleanliness? Clean as a whistle
Service? No complaints
Portions/Pricing? Needs work

Ordered Stew peas w/pigstail and a 1/4 jerk pork. The stew peas portion was fine – taste not so much(how stew peas muss need salt??)…but the JERK PORK!? $8.00+ and it literally was a waste of time and money. I dont mind paying for what I want but look at the picture uploaded. Come on yall. I was already home when I opened the container or I would’ve driven back to return it. So disappointed .
For ME? I wont be returning a 3rd time. I tried.

We are multiple returning customers. The food is 10/10. We have tried the Jerk Chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, Rasta pasta, BBQ ribs, Jerk Pork, Red Bean Beef Soup, BBq Salmon. Ask for a side of Jerk sauce. Everything has a lot of flavor and very fresh. The customer service has been outstanding every time. We really appreciate the service. Even when it was busy, I noticed the chef stepped in and personally served us. We appreciated the good service and the restaurant was very clean. This place deserves a 5 star rating 100%%. You can clearly see the food is very fresh.

The food is really delish. Had the jerked salmon with mashed & Cabbage. Its all really good. They have a sweet sauce as well. The jerk chicken is great too. The girls are all very nice and respectful. They only have 1 table to sit though. It would be nice if they had more. Best Jamaican food I ever ate so far in my life.

This place reminds me of a relative of mine who went by the nick name of “Queen. “She’d ask me before I came to the table to eat – “Ya hand clean?” That’s what this place strikes you as being, as soon as you step in – cleanliness! It’s a relatively new addition to the neighborhood eateries and it’s spotless, the display of food is on point, and you have a side salad option in addition to the regular Caribbean favs – Ox Tail, Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken, etc. I had the goat tonight and the meat was tender and the gravy was an amazing combo with the coconut flavored rice and peas. They have an assortment of beverages sorrel, peanut punch and tonight I got a few coconut waters to finish the meal! This is my go to and they are open until 10 weeknights! Mmmmmm is all I can say! Food is so good when done right! Next level cuisine and service! Glad they are now in my neighborhood!

I’m genuinely glad to see a new Jamaican restaurant open up in Baldwin—especially since we all know the other spot nearby (that I won’t name) has seriously fallen off in recent years.

Parking is super easy. The interior is spacious, well-lit, and very clean. They give you the option to order at the counter with the cashier or use a self-service kiosk, which is a nice touch for convenience. I chose to dine in during my visit. While I appreciated the cleanliness, I do think the dining setup could use some improvement. The single long table didn’t feel like the most comfortable arrangement for dining in—especially if others were sitting at the same table. A few smaller tables would definitely help make it feel more inviting.

Now, on to the food. I had the salmon, pasta, plantains, and one fried dumpling Thats right, one fried dumpling. First, the positives: the plantains were fresh, sweet, and cooked just right. The rice was solid too. But I was definitely caught off guard when I received just one fried dumpling, especially since it wasn’t all that flavorful. For $16, I expected a bit more than a piece of salmon that was smaller than my palm, plus an extra $3 for the pasta felt like a stretch.

That said, the flavors are there, and I see a lot of potential in this place. It’s not exactly a bang for your buck (yet), but with some tweaks—especially to portion sizes and dine-in comfort—it could easily become one of my go-to weekly takeout spots. I’ll definitely give It another try, especially for those plantains

Again, I tried to purchase a meal from this black owned establishment today (1/20/2026) and wound up walking out for the 2nd time. Their meal combinations are very rigid, and will not allow the customer to substitute sides even with an up charge, as crazy as that sounds. I’m not asking for anything for free, just sell me what I want and tell me “that’s extra!” Period!

Today I tried to order a Jerk Salmon meal. I asked the young lady behind the counter with the Afro Puffs, how many sides comes with the Salmon. She said “salad and plantains, but we are out of salad”. I said I would like the rasta pasta and another item. She repeated, “it comes with salad and plantains but we don’t have any salad right now”. She never said the sides I wanted were extra.

So my question was, “you don’t have one side, are you going to replace that side with something else” and she said “but we are out of salad…. At that point, I was done and left. You can argue with this mindset.

Management, train your employees to sell the customer what they want and charge them for it, but never, ever tell someone “no we don’t sell a meal like that!” How are you going to stay in business turning away customers who want to arrange their meal as they want it and are willing to pay for it? That makes absolutely no sense, from one business owner to another.

I usually get their breakfast from here. Today I ordered their seafood soup and I regret not getting a large. You can’t go wrong with anything you get here.

Sooo yea this was like my 4th try here. So i like the food, The oxtails is a bit on the extra spicy side. But my issue is… Every time i have to turn around because they forget something or didn’t prepare your food as you asked. I picked up a large oxtail for my husband. First off he complains about the basmati rice which they use but is okay if it has gravy on it. I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice three times! Just to get home after my kids came from the pool and to see he dissatisfied because they gave him a big plate of dry rice! I ordered a large! Got three oxtails cut in half?!?! For 22 dollars a plate. C’mon on! I’m cool paying but not when you’re being cheap on the food and charging top dollar.

I believe if someone comes to buy soup late at night and there’s no meat you should let them know ahead before purchasing. When I got home not one piece of beef, I called and was told they can’t do anything about that. That is not good customer service. However, I enjoyed the food the other times I went.
