Ordered 2 burgers with added bbq sauce – both came without bbq sauce on them
One burger had a piece of hard debris in it that nearly broke a tooth.
Ordered a “regular” size fry, was given a “little” size. When asked, employees dismissed it and offered no replacement with the correct fry amount. (I’ve received more than double what was in this bag with a “little” fry before, and had ordered an entire size above that this time, so this was rather confusing and disappointing).
When asked for 2 water cups, the register employee said they were out, but graciously (though quite nervously) offered a regular size drink cup instead. She said she could only give my party of 2 a single cup though. A few minutes later I overheard other employees simply charging for the regular cups if someone wanted a water cup. Definitely understandable, given this is in a mall food court with other water sources available, but clearly there was no consensus between the employees of what was supposed to happen in this situation and it left me feeling a little uncomfortable that I had gotten a regular drink cup for free when everyone else was getting charged.
Overall the food was edible, but fell below the standards I expect from Five Guys, especially at the prices charged.
There are much better options for food in this area and I don’t think I will return to this location anytime soon.
The 2 stars is because the food was good.
