The chicken satay with peanut sauce was excellent. The samba delight was plated within an egg roll like crunchy shell you can eat. These two items are a win. Definitely will be back.

The place was so aesthetic and the plating was so pretty. We got the Crazy Salmon roll, Painted Lady roll, and Mind Eraser roll. The flavors are really well rounded and the filling to rice ratio was just right. The three cup chicken came out sizzling and it was the perfect combo with the rolls. I just found my new favorite sushi spot today, looking forward to bring everyone here

Nothing bad at all to say about Blue Ginger on Sawmill. Sushi/sashimi has always been my longstanding favorite kind of food and this place didn’t disappoint. First of all the atmosphere is perfect in my opinion. Dark wood, super dim lights, nice bar area, nice sushi bar area. Great happy hour with exceptional lunch specials. The yellow tail sashimi was as fresh as any other I’ve had in the city. They have a large selection of unique specialty rolls and also all of the traditional classics. There is also a wide range of dinner/hibachi options for the non-raw lovers. Service was friendly and prompt, portions were reasonable, prices made sense, excited to return.

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife at Blue Ginger. The food here is a notch above most Asian restaurants. My sesame crusted salmon was done to perfection and the House Chow Fun was also amazing. The booths are spacious here and the noise level is such that conversation is easy. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The food and service here is pretty good . Restaurant is never busy when we go here but it’s been here for ages . Decent sushi, good Chinese-American wok dishes, and great appetizers to share . We always get black pepper calamari and yellowtail samba for appetizers. Not your typical deep fried calamari, but stir fried as well. Food is fast , ambience is decent enough for a date , service is attentive . Everything I look for in a restaurant. Prices are not bad either

Beautiful restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice selection on the menu including many things not commonly seen in local Chinese restaurants, including lots of sushi choices. Food was attractive and served quickly – good sized portions. A bit more expensive than other local Chinese restaurants, but worth it!

I’ve been coming to Blue Ginger for over a decade now and finally thought to leave a review for the years of great service they have given!
These pictures are just my most recent meals, but I’ve been lucky to try almost every dish on their menu and everything thing is phenomenal and my favorites are always consistent.
My last meal I had
– Crispy Red Snapper: I order this almost every time and it is my favorite and what I think is one of their very best dishes! Crispy, a little spicy, always delicious, full of complimentary flavors.
– Fire Wok (pictured): Thai curry lobster, shrimp, scallops and more. All of the seafood is given in hearty and plentiful amounts. It’s a pretty spicy one, but I couldn’t stop eating it! Delicious.
– Octopus sashimi: I order this every time, and every time it is fresh, perfect consistency, plated beautifully.
– Thai Spring Rolls: I could eat a bucket of these. Crispy on the outside, packed full on the inside.
Always a great meal with quick, professional service and in probably over fifty meals at least here, I don’t think they have ever once screwed up an order—which is insane, because we’re all human and it happens but wow, they are on point!
Thanks Blue Ginger, for always being solid and yummy. I look forward to my birthday Sushi Boat here every year!

We ordered take out. Service was quick and friendly. However, the dish we ordered was a huge disappointment especially for the price. We ordered cashew chicken with shrimp and vegetables. The chicken was tiny niblet size, and the shrimp was also baby size shrimp. There was not a huge variety of vegetables either. So if I spend $21 for a dish I would expect better quality. We have eaten here before and definitely feel they are cutting costs and corners with their dishes.

Ordered takeout. Mackerel was absolutely rancid. To the point of smelling up the house when the container was opened. Rest of the food was fine but Jesus Christ do better. Mackerel is cheap and it’s not hard to get fresh
