If you’ve traveled to Italy you will appreciate this little gem in Palmetto, FL. In the style of Roma with a little bit of something for everyone. Service and portion are as you expect in Italy on a menu. Be patient with service this is not a fast food restaurant! They genuinely want to please and are proud of their food. My photos are from two different lunch visits. Tagliatelle Polpette (this is a pasta starter not entree thus the smaller
size) with an insalata mista which has a citrus vinaigrette. My other lunch, Paparedelle, pasta made in house, with Bolognese sauce. I enjoyed Super Tuscan, Vermentino and Pinot Grigio during my visits which were generously poured. If your need to brush up on your Italian then you’re in luck as they speak the la gauge from which they hail! Bon Appetito!

Wonderful dining experience. At 5:30, when we arrived this authentic feeling Italian restaurant was comfortably busy, at 6:30 it was packed! The wait staff were rushing about, but still attentive to all! Roberto was entertaining, warm, and engaging. Our food was tasty and arrived quickly. We will travel this way again, just to share a meal here!

This restaurant has only been open for a few weeks. I ate there last week and there were zero reviews. Somehow they have 27 five-star reviews in a week? No way. The food was mediocre, we were getting bit by mosquitoes inside while we were there, and it wasn’t cheap. The pizza was very oily. The mashed potatoes were very bland. The lasagna was just meh. Of a party of three, I was the only one who finished my dish. The rest went in the trash. I didn’t want to leave a review because I like to support small local businesses, but somebody has to tell the truth about this place because the other reviews do not.

First off, the service made me feel like I was really a part of the Angelino’s family! I ordered the Lasagna and when I say it’s the best one I’ve ever had, I mean it. I grew up in an Italian household with pasta every Sunday with my dad and this took the cake. The atmosphere really felt like an authentic Italian restaurant, and it should cause the owner is from Rome! I will definitely be back with my entire family in tow.

Absolutely delicious food! Very happy to have a restaurant in the area with phenomenal dishes. Even my pickiest 5 year old loved the fresh pasta. You can taste the fresh ingredients and flavors of Italy. We can’t wait to go back!

For being a small startup restaurant in Palmetto, Angelino brings big Italian flavor to our town. The sauce is rich and meaty, the portions are very well sized for the price and the service is excellent. I would definitely try them for an authentic Italian experience.

I hope they return. Food was amazing good and prices were not so bad for a very nice upscale place. upscale yet, florida relaxed. Sandals & shorts. Pizza was a great surprise in quality and taste. Roberto was nothing less than magnifico! Very nice guy. What a great little hidden gem this place is.

We tried the restaurant last Saturday night. We started with an appetizer of toasted bread with procutto and cheese. The appetizer was very salty. I could understand if the prosciutto was salty, but it wasn’t the meat that was so salty.
I ordered the pappardelle and my husband ordered the sirloin tips with mashed potatoes. My husband said that his dish was good but it did not fill him up. My dish however was almost inedible due to the amount of salt in the actual sauce. I scraped the sauce off and only ate the noodles. Four people at the table next to us ordered the same dish I did. I waited until they ate their food and asked how their dinner was. They all four said it was way too salty.
You do not get a small salad or even bread with the dinner so it is not overly filling, especially for the price.
The service was not good, the wait staff couldn’t keep up with the tables.
As another reviewer pointed out, the reviews on the website appear to be made up because they were written in a foreign language, possibly Italian???, so all the five star ratings are not believable.
We will not be back. We do appreciate fine Italian food and don’t mind paying a premium as long as it is good!

Most attentive and friendly “aim to please” waitstaff ever. Restaurant ambience is cozy bistro, comfortable white wood bead-board, white tablecloth & black wood chairs, all perfectly arranged. Food, wine & cappuccino all authentic Italian, delicious & so filling we passed on dessert…. so we will be going back to sample some more menu items AND dessert! Crusty peasant bread & tomato chop w/ herbs on every table. Eggplant, pastas, meat and vegetarian friendly. Calamari & tuna w/ soy appetizers also splendid. FRESH salad greens w/ perfect light dressing. AND ITS FUN!
