The best Roti in town. The doubles also seem to be very popular and food is always a hit. The service can be unwelcoming at times but the people are very nice the more you go. You get very good quantity of food for the price that you pay. Highly recommend if you’re a true foodie and dont care about high energy customer service.

I wanted to start by saying I reposted this review on every possible review site to make it aware that the service my friend and I received here was terrible.
I been meaning to write a review on my experience with this restaurant and it was terrible. I have been to this place two times, one with 3 friends and the last with one with my best friend. The difference in the service treatment is ridiculous, and I realized my friend and I were dealing with macroaggressions from one particular employee. I don’t ever want to assume that people are racist and/or colorist, but this experience was just that! My best friend and I are two darker complexion girls in comparison to our other two, and I wanted to observe if they would treat me differently than the other customers who “appeared more guyanese”, although I am guyanese. We went on a Sunday and there was one particular young lady serving us. We had come in for doubles. The young lady initially ignored us when we arrived (was not serving anyone at the time) and when she finally decided to acknowledge us, she continued to disengage with us while preparing to make our doubles. I understand the lady beside her was making doubles but as she proceeds to make it, she does not even ask us what we want on it and begins to start dumping the ingredients on it. After, I had enough of the hostility I addressed her and asked her if she would ask us what we wanted on our doubles first before making it. I mean that is what we do right… I communicated that I did not want no cucumber and no pepper sauce on ALL four doubles. Not only did she put everything on my doubles, but she made it sloppily. I later watched how she engaged with the next customer, and it was all laughing, smiles, and overall proper customer service engagement. I will not be eating here again, because this was not an environment where I felt included due to the dismissiveness of this employee. If you do not know how to properly, kindly, and respectfully engage with your customers, then you do not need to be working in customer service. Lastly, ALL customers should be treated equally.

I have been eating from this place for years now. It’s clean and cashiers are attentive. It has a nice little sitting area and parking could get a little tricky. So many people go here because the roti its totally delicious. My favorite is buss up shot with curry chicken, doubles I love and the kurma really good. I recommend this place for a good good roti.

Delicious food! I love the boneless curry chicken with buss up. There’s good variety in the menu. Good size portions too. I’ve been going here for years and the food is consistently good. This is a great roti spot and it’s conveniently located. I definitely recommend it.

Food represents Trinidad & Tobago cuisine. Do your homework on this cuisine before walking in the restaurant. The lady behind the counter won’t describe what anything is. She’ll just tell you the titles or labels. I kept saying I wanted any vegetables with my shrimp and she kept just wanting to give me rice. The food tasted okay. My cousin didn’t like his food there.

I’ve lived in the Caribbean, but am from the states…this place is a gem and absolutely legit all the way down to the mom-like chef coming out from the kitchen to bring fresh food or check on her patrons. I’m telling you, go to this place! The meat is juicy, the roti bread is flavorful and fresh, the pepper sauce is the perfect marriage of spice and flavor and the Doubles make every local Trinny (person from Trinidad) excited to have their hometown flavors nearby. Cash only and the menu prices are after taxes…the greatest value you could hope for. What a find!
