Love this place! I felt like I was eating breakfast at Mamaws house or one of my sweet aunt’s had me over. Very sweet people that make you feel welcomed.
I love supporting local businesses that want your patronage.
I almost got the salmon patties with macaroni and tomatoes, but I wanted breakfast today.
Fluffy biscuits. creamy gravy. eggs over easy is the ticket for me. I’m sure I had it all over me by the time I finished eating.
The grandkids loved the cake. chicken tenders , fries, and sitting at the counter. They wanted to go back the next day!
A couple of things : bring cash with you. no cards here. They close after lunch rush. 3pm on the door I think.
I forgot to mention the huge club sandwich. I had to do a double take! Maybe next time?
Definitely going back the next time we’re in Manyardsville.;)
Stop by and eat here. Thank me later.

If you are looking for an authentic southern diner, then this is it. Warm and inviting southern hospitality plus delicious home cooking!
Hubby wanted a club sandwich but it wasn’t on the menu so they kindly made their BLT and added ham and cheese. He loved it. I had their fish sandwich and fries which was yummy. My husband and I go out of our way to find an excuse to drive to 33 Diner in Maynardville, TN.

The food is cooked right in front of you and I think that makes it the atmosphere so much better because you can watch them and they’re communicating back and forth with each other and customers. This plastic is old by 4 Ladie Sue , Gimalia , Ginger ,

We stopped in on a whim, but man, we enjoyed our meals. I got hamburger steak with onions and three sides. The meat had a great flavor to it, The portions were good sized. Green beans were tender but not soggy. Certainly filled me up. I wasn’t about to leave a bite behind. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll certainly stop in again. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was cheerful and attentive too. Thank you for the hospitality!
Got up that way again today. Country steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, and corn bread. And sweet tea. And tax. $12. I love visiting here.
Christmas Eve. Another delicious meal. The hamburger steak was perfectly cooked, the sides were of good size portion, the service attentive. I love eating here.

Fantastic food… you can get breakfast all day but they close at 3. The biscuits are super soft and the ladies that work there are very kind and attentive.

Seems this was a first. We sat down, got coffee and ordered our breakfast only to have them lose our ticket. I only noticed because it was our second coffee and I was chatting with my husband. Looks like there was an older waitress that did not like us when she carelessly threw cream onto the table with dismissive attitude.
Fortunately when my husband mentioned that these ghost eggs were bland they got right on it. The food was good. The coffee was good. The home fries were ok but regular French fries but smaller. I give the service a 3 star for losing out ticket but the food a 5 star. It cost us $22.17 plus tip.
Promptly served when I arrived. I had eggs, home style potatoes (deep fried) so more like french fries, toast and coffee.
The fries were not fully cooked. They were still tough. But the rest was good. The coffee was good.
Cost: $13 and a 5 star rating.

I was hoping I would see a place like this in my way from Norris lake to Nashville and there sat 33 Diner. Stopped in no hesitation and was super pleased I did. The folks that work there were so friendly and helpful. The food was exactly what I was looking. IAmazing breakfast cooked exactly as I asked. Very reasonably priced too. I missed the sign that said cash only but noticed everyone was paying with cash. I asked the server (owner) if it was cash only and she said yes. Then she asked if I had cash and I said no. She said, that’s OK just come visit us again. I went to an ATM and paid them but was blown away at their kindness. If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and check this place out. Two thumbs up!

This is an awesome locally owned and sourced diner. You can tell it’s family owned and they feed great food to the community. I was out this way for work and my parents told me to try it and I was pleased with how fresh everything was.

Open 35 years as of 2024, this spot is a true taste of East Tennessee homestyle cooking. The space is cozy, and the service extremely friendly. My takeout order was ready quickly, and coffee was fresh. The lunch menu offers some tasty blue plate standards (chicken livers, pinto beans and onion, anyone?), as well as daily specials. Best gravy in the 865 area code. Highly recommend checking this gem out if you’re hungry for lunch or breakfast (they close at 3pm).

33 Diner is a great place to get some home cooked, delicious food. The service is friendly and you won’t have to wait long on your meal. My husband and I both enjoyed our choices. I had a hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, peas, pinto beans and cornbread. My husband had a hamburger steak as well, potatoes, tomatoes and cornbread. Most meals are around $10-12 and the portions are generous. The diner serves breakfast all day (with the prettiest biscuits you’ll see) as well as burgers and meat & 3 plates. You can find the 33 Diner on Hwy 33 in Maynardville, just across from the Co-op. If you are in the area, it’s well worth stopping in!
