A group of young Mexicans, who worked in different restaurants, decided to join forces and open a single Mexican restaurant that offered a cozy, home-like atmosphere at affordable prices. My boyfriend and I stopped through for dinner while driving through the area. We walked inside and were seated almost immediately. The restaurant is really unique inside with wall murals stretching all across the restaurant. Once we were seated it took a second for someone to come by to take our drink order and drop off a chip basket with salsa. Our server was also not very personable or friendly. She was pretty to the point and didn’t really seem like she wanted to be there. I will note however, a man I assume to be a floor manager was regularly checking up on us. Once we ordered our food came out pretty quickly. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Chimichangas (“4/5 ⭐️/ delicious / heavy but in a good way”) and the cheese dip that comes with chorizo (also very good). I ordered the Quesabarilla Tacos (really good, but very messy). During our meal, the server came through pretty frequently to bus the table. While I don’t usually mind a server pre-busing the table, I felt like i was being rushed through my meal. All together it wasn’t a bad experience and I wouldn’t mind going back. I just hope the service is a little better next time.

Seated and served quickly, the food was delicious we got lunch specials 5 (chicken fajitas) and 10 (steak burrito) and they were so yum!! definitely will be coming back 🙂

Really cool place, great food, potent margaritas. Shredded beef nachos were lights-out, were being the key term. Also threw sombreros on some folks for a birthday at another table. Will return soon

Spent $70 for takeout and my food was dry, cold, and I didn’t receive the tortillas I paid extra for. My burrito is supposed to be covered with ranchero sauce. It looks like they scraped what was left from the bottom of the pan and called it good. First time patronizing this place and probably my last.

Good Mexican food at a reasonable price and amazing staff. Meat was a bit overcooked and there was so much lettuce next to burrito and the water of them in the plate made the burrito totally wet. I love Mexican food and I definitely had better ones in Pittsburgh.
