Incredible food, service and atmosphere! The new best restaurant in Weymouth.
Perfect for our girly family get together, great wines and even tastier food!
We couldn’t decide what to order so all chose a starter and main and shared, all extremely satisfied. Will definitely be back.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing service. There’s not much to complain about here… nothing actually. Couldn’t recommend more:) Weymouth absolutely needed a restaurant like this one. It is truly refreshing to see.

Had a lovely meal, friendly staff, good food. 100% recommend this place.

Had a second unplanned visit after a shopping trip. As we arrived we were greated by the host and shown to a table for 2. We ordered cocktails (that were amazing)
Starters we crisp and fresh and tasted great, the mains were just perfect, my wife hax to ask for a takeaway dish as she was full, but wanted to finish the dish.
As I said before, highly recommend this place to anyone
Added some photos this time.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Rice & Sail. Not a single table spare. Excellent from start to finish. The food was great — fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and perfectly judged spice levels. You can tell real care goes into every dish. Wine was good. Service was warm and professional, and the whole place had a great vibe. A real gem and one we’ll be returning to regularly I’m sure.

Fantastic food and a real gem in Weymouth. The spring rolls were crisp and freshly made, the pho was rich, aromatic and beautifully balanced, and the spicy soup was warming with just the right level of heat. Everything tasted fresh and carefully cooked.

Friendly service, generous portions and great flavours throughout. We’ll definitely be back.

A really nice addition to local dining options, a nice location and very nicely decorated producing a nice relaxing atmosphere without being intimidating.

The welcome and the staff in general are warm and friendly and as helpful as they can be.

The menu & wine list is pleasantly uncrowded and the food well prepared and presented.

We will definitely return.

The food itself is a mix of “Thai & Vietnamese”

Portion sizes are good, but the flavouring and spicing is less sophisticated than most of the South Asian food I have enjoyed, it could do with more refining so it’s not so brutal on the tongue.

The Tom Yum soup, while tasty was one of the oddest I have ever had, a much heavier broth and less solid content than normal, biggest sin though was using ‘shrimps’ when sold as using prawns, just does not suit the dish.

So overall, very good and well worth a visit, we will try different dishes next time, hopefully they will be more what were used to.

And yes I have spent a lot of time in Thailand (less in Vietnam)in my working life to use as a comparative base.

Great new restaurant in nice location right on the harbour. Decor is really nice and spacious between tables. Food was fantastic, we had lots of starters rather than mains, but they were all very good and fresh. Staff and service were excellent, will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Slow but friendly service. Food was not good. Two of our group chose cashew stir fry. It was soo salty in was inedible. The staff had the dishes recooked and is was slightly better. No soda water or lime available so I tried the passionfruit virgin cocktail, undrinkable, just like drinking liquid glucose, a couple of my group tried it and agreed it was undrinkable, at eight pounds a glass this was very disappointing. We were all disappointed with our meals. Such a shame.

Really tasty Thai and Vietnamese. We had the spicy pho, which was really warming on a winter evening. The starters were also a real hit too. Maybe a bit more spicyiness for my taste would be great. Also really helpful and attentive staff.
