We came in Thursday at 6:45 pm. Not too busy. It took a minute for staff to greet us and give us a menu but the service after that was phenomenal. I always love the truffle fries and convinced my husband (who’s never been) that they’re one of the best things on the planet. He agrees. He got the loaded Mac with bacon and loved it, though personally had to add some salt. I got the sweet and spicy burger which was very wet but good flavors! The apple cider mojito was great. I’ve had other cocktails that use Carmel Smirnoff and it’s awful, bit this was balanced and great! We finished by having the blueberry cream cheese Danish … Perfect balance of sweet.

My tour group stopped here for a dinner before leaving Oshkosh, and we had a lovely time!!
My Beef Stew was absolutely PHENOMENAL. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the carrots and potatoes were delicious, as was crostini. I cannot recommend it enough. I also got the 430 Mac and it was decent, but I found it a bit bland and I could not finish it. It may have been good for others, but it just was not my speed. All of my friends loved their meals, as well (the gnocchi, chicken satay, and sweet & sour burger). Do not be fooled by the affordable prices — the portion sizes are very good. I ordered two entrees because I assumed the pricing was the pricing of a smaller portion, but they were both pretty big! I definitely did not need to order both the macaroni AND the stew.
I also had the Apple Cider Sangria, which was AMAZING. It was HEAVENLY, and well worth the fairly inexpensive price. We RAVED about this restaurant all night.
The service was good! Our waiter was super kind and SO helpful/friendly! He seemed a bit overwhelmed and stressed, but maintained a great energy and took his time with us, being very patient. I will say that the restaurant was not terribly busy at this time so we were unsure if they were understaffed or what happened, but they managed it fairly well.
The atmosphere was so cozy and felt relaxed and casual, despite the great quality of the food and drinks. It didn’t feel too fancy or stuffy, but still was a great experience. We also were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the chairs at the high top tables were!! It was a very nice evening!!

This is not Bar food!! My friend had a tuna bowl that included beautiful brite veggies you don’t see this time of year. I had a gourmet grilled cheese with bacon, caramelized mushrooms & onions. For dessert we had cream Brulee w/ berries & tiramisu. That atmosphere was quaint and quiet. Service was friendly, but very slooowww. We were there almost 2 hrs for lunch. There was 2 other tables of 2. Don’t go when you’re in hurry.

We usually don’t go out to eat in bars. But our son and his wife asked us to go out to eat, he and his wife both work in the food and hospitality business. They have frequented Bar 430, and knew it had an upgraded menu. And by that I mean: I had the best Poke bowl I’ve ever had! I felt the prices were appropriate. And I was told the cocktails were amazing. I marked the Atmosphere down just because…it’s a bar. Park on the back otherwise street parking in downtown Oshkosh.

Visited Bar 430 on a friend’s recommendation, they used to live in Oshkosh and spoke highly of it. Loved the vibe and unique look of the space. It’s not huge, but it didn’t feel cramped or overcrowded. If I’m ever back in Oshkosh, I’d definitely stop in again!

Was visiting my daughter at college and went to Bar 430 on a Saturday night for drinks. We loved it so much that we came back for Sunday Funday brunch the next day. The drinks and food were great! And the prices are really good for what you get. The bartenders are friendly and attentive too. We’ll definitely be back!

Great little bar. The food was really good, especially the fries. Wine selection was very limited. Broad range of spirits. The person trending bar was superb, and I chatted with lots of friendly people during an afternoon. Was a bit surprised how many folks were out drinking on a Tuesday afternoon! Will visit again if I pass through town.

Delicious spinach & artichoke dip appetizer—I recommend it! My bacon burger was pretty good but it wasn’t crazy flavorful. I did ask for it without the tomato and greens because of my preference.
The service seemed like everybody helped out everybody so I wasn’t sure who our server was when I needed something.
The atmosphere was oh so lovely! It’s a beautiful location on Main Street. I would recommend trying this place!

Excellent food and great service from Megan today! The Chicken Pot Pie was a delicious Restaurant Week Special and the traditional Biscuits & Gravy were of course amazing. We decided to split a Blueberry Cornbread Special for dessert and just wow… Hot & delicious!

This is a great stop for good food and drinks. Their drink menu is extensive and well designed. They have a wide selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options. Their old fashioned selections are fun and great twits on the OG old fashioned. Their food is high quality and there are great options for food allergies, intolerances and vegan diets. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and the different diet needs that customers may need. The curry nachos were an amazing vegan surprise and absolutely delicious!
