Made our reservation through Google and instantly got seated with barely any wait when we got to the restaurant. It was a pretty packed weekend with regulars and customers picking up online orders. We were greeted by the staff and he was very attentive eventhough there were a lot of people. They only had one server serving almost 7 tables so there was quite a wait but the guy was attentive and he was quick so we didn’t really mind. The food was good. Everything we ordered, including the spicy edamame, were all good. Tuna quality for the Nigiri was so-so but is okay for Arizona (cause we don’t have sea or ocean nearby to get good quality fish) The ramen broth was good, not too bland or too salty. I wished I asked for the egg noodles for the tonkatsu ramen since I prefer it but the white one was okay too. The CHASU was perfect. The taste and texture and how it was done is how authentic Japanese Ramen places would do theirs so I was very satisfied. The Pork Katsu was so good we wanted to come back and bring more of our friends from ASU. The place had cute decors and was clean and organized. We will definitely come back!

It’s open seating so don’t be silly like was and stand there waiting for a host lol. I ordered the Veggie Rolls and they were so good paired with the Gyoza ! Both achieved the level of perfection of crispy-ness in my opinion had the California Roll and it was also delicious . My partner had the Katsu Bowl and I had the tonkatsu ramen without the Fungus or fish cake & although it was good it wasn’t quite what I was looking for in terms of flavor; it was very bland and not much flavor in the broth. I ditched my bowl to share with my partner instead lol and the katsu bowl is soo much better! I enjoyed the sweetness and honestly the way everything was crispy soft in a good way made it that much better 🙂

Really fast food and service. They are open Tuesdays so we called before hand to make sure as some Google reviews said they weren’t. Lovely place & have vegetarian options yay!

Great food, outstanding service. The food arrives quickly and is delicious. There is plenty of parking being the restaurant is part of a shopping center. The only downside is that it is small. There is 7 four person seats and 2 two persons seats. I recommend it if you’re looking for sushi or Pho.

Service was great however my friend and I got the same ramen and the next morning we both had food poisoning. First time getting sick eating ramen and will not be going back. Go to Daruma instead! Better ramen and won’t make you ill.

Excellent service, the staff was very friendly. The azusa black was delicious and had a generous portion of black fungus. The salmon nigiri was perfect. They carry yamasa low sodium soy sauce, which is greatly appteciated as someone with high blood pressure. This restaurant deserves your business.

I always have a lovely time at Azusa. I’ve been going for a few years now, and there’s never been a slide in quality for the food or the staff. Good selection of foods, and all the dishes I’ve ordered have been delicious (even if I didn’t personally like them, I’ve had friends tell me they would be great if I enjoyed shrimp, hahah). Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

I love this place! We had takoyaki, calamari and the shrimp plate as appetizer. The shrimp plate is amazing, the crispy layer outside of the shrimp is perfect.
For main, My husband had the pork katsu and I had curry ramen. They both are amazingly done and we enjoyed it every much! The pork slice in the ramen was huge which surprised me cause in other ramen restaurants they are usually tiny and thin.
Will definitely come back again!
