Had an excellent lunch at Blue Wind Gourmet—everything from the food to the service was spot on. The dishes were fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. A special shoutout to the wine manager, who was outstanding and took the time to help us find the perfect wine to complement our meal.

Great food, great service, and a welcoming experience overall. Absolutely worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

Comforting and warm deli with a broad selection of wine and liquor. Fantastic cookies that are larger than the palm of my hand

Fresh ingredients in their salads, sandwiches, and wraps make this a staple lunch/dinner stop for me when on travel. Also enjoy the fair prices on the great wine bottle selection.

The salad with shrimp offered crisp bites of greens, with nice boiled eggs, fresh tomatoes, and avocados.

Their large chocolate chip cookie was chewy, with lots of chocolate! Great comfort food.

My gf and I been coming in for a few months. Nice atmosphere, no noisy bar just pleasant music, great drinks and tasty food selection. We like grabbing random beers out of refrigerator to add to our huge beer lovers list.
We tell folks we meet, to come in and enjoy a relaxing good time.
Nice meeting Jordyn , she’s an asset to the team.
And chocolates are dangerously wonderful

Had lunch at this restaurant. The food was really good. I had The Garbage Sandwich on a Focaccia brea. First time I have this type of bread. The whole thing was delicious. The bread was very flavourful, and the combination of meats and cheese complemented each other. I had it with a side salad with Ceasar dressing. The sandwich is definitely a winner with an abnormal name . I will come back to this restaurant.

Fast and very friendly service! The Blue Wind Reuben is absolutely 5 stars and they put the dressing on the side, so you can control how much you want per bite. Its great even without dressing.
The Lamb & Beef Gyro wrap is also fantastic. I’m a bit of a gyro and shawarma fanatic, but I would definitely give it 4.5 out of 5.
This spot never disappoints over the years since it opened.
The chips have a nice selection and the side salad is delicious.
Definitely a great gourmet deli location.

Great service and atmosphere, very nice people and I wanted to love it but was disappointed in the food.. Strawberry Dubai Cup– Berries are fresh but the chocolate isn’t a gnache, hardens after a few minutes. There isnt any of the gooey/crunchy candybar mixture (the part that justifies the $18 price), just a sprinkle/drizzle of pistachio cream & knafeh individually crab chowder tasted canned but was hot and edible, gyro really needed tzaziki sauce but I ordered carryout and ate at home so had to deal without.

We’ve been to blue wind gourmet many times while visiting family in Lexington Park. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Try the tomato bisque soup. Any of the salads are delicious and plentiful. Sandwiches are great and they have a lot of variety and healthy selections. The atmosphere is very casual.

This place gave us similar vibes to a place we would find in Spain. Large variety of alcohol, large selection of food items, and staff who genuinely enjoy their job and being there to help you enjoy your visit. We plan on making this our go to spot WEEKLY and plan to bring any one who visits here.

Nice, quaint, laid back dining. Went for lunch with a few of my Chiefs. Wow, I’ve been missing out for the last 3 years. Service was awesome and lunchtime vibe is awesome!! You know a place is good when people are willing to sit at a table in the entryway/ chocolate bar. The place is an all-in-one mini wine cellar, chocolate bar, tea/coffee spot and restaurant. I’m not a huge wine consumer but I was intrigued by the selection. Will definitely be back!

I was at Point Lookout State Park and decided to head to Blue Wind Gourmet for a very late lunch/early dinner. I looked on their website to check out the menu first and discovered the online order option. Since I have my pups in the car, ordering online would allow the food to be prepared and cooked before arriving at the restaurant, eliminating the wait time. The restaurant was easy to find and the front entrance was unusual, looks more like a side entrance to me. There were about 8-10 parking spaces right outside the door with 1 reserved for handicap. There were picnic tables outside next to the front door, but nothing fancy. I walked in and the 2 employees looked up at me with a blank on their faces… No smile, no greeting. I told them that I placed an online order and the young man handed me the food. I started looking around after noticing the left side of the restaurant has wall to wall beer, liquor and wine. The room has tables where you can sit and enjoy an alcoholic beverage. The center of the restaurant is the checkout counter and kitchen. To the right is a dining area and far right is where they make their chocolates and a counter for coffee and other beverages. I looked around and bought some chocolate and at checkout the computer gave me an option to tip, which is kind of weird but this app does that everywhere I shopped that used this app. I ate my food in the car with my pups. The crab and corn chowder was amazing!! I wanted more after finishing the cup. It was creamy with chunks of crabmeat and the soup has so much flavor. It was made to perfection. The crab cake sandwich was unique. It was served with my choice of artisan bread, toasted. The crab cake was a good size made with lump crabmeat. It looked delicious. It was served with a light orange sauce. The crab cake has no flavor but with the orange sauce, I loved it. The crab cake was a little dry though. I didn’t realize they forgot the chocolate chip cookie that I ordered until I was almost done with the crab cake sandwich. Thank goodness I was eating in my car. I went in and the young man apologized and let me pick a cookie from the counter. I picked the smallest one because the cookies were huge. I ate the cookies on my way home, and it is one of the better ones I have eaten. The outer edge was crunchy, which I love. The center was soft, and the chocolate chips, variety of chips, melted in my mouth. The cookie almost tasted like it just came out of the oven, except it wasn’t warm. I also bought some toffee crunch chocolate and peppermint bark. I can’t wait to try them. This restaurant is so unique… Food, drinks, chocolate all in one. I would come back and try other items on the menu if I am ever in the area. The 2 things I feel that could be improved from this visit are… 1. Don’t overcooked the crab cake so that will be moist, and 2. Friendlier service, greeting customers with a smile makes the customers feel welcome which enhances the customers’ experience.
