I’m a loyal fan of No.10 and 54! The owner is so warm and welcoming, while I enjoy dining in sometimes! However, takeout is much more convenient as a mom of three.
After seeing previous review about food handling mishaps, I have a takeout tip: immediately place the raw beef slices into the hot soup (which is packed separately). The soup’s residual heat is enough to cook the beef perfectly. Finally, pour the soup and cooked beef over the noodles. This way, you can enjoy incredibly tender beef every time! 🙂

The pho here is enjoyable, I like the lighter soup broth and this places has the right flavour. Add sauces to change it up if wanted. I also get saté on the side. The place is a classic for me.

I usually don’t like to post negative reviews on any businesses, but I’m making an exception for tonight. I ordered pho soup with some extra meat from Skip when it arrived. I opened it and found nothing but raw meat. I called to let them know about the mistake as I understand these things can happen, but I was met with someone on the phone who is extremely rude and told me when I order meat. I need to call the restaurant and have it cooked properly and people like me are stupid so now I’m going to share everything I would not recommend eating here. It’s absolutely disgusting and they’re stupidity makes them even worse. I strongly don’t recommend eating here. Anyone who would answer their phone and say that to a customer ordering from Skip the dish that they need to call the restaurant in order to have their meat cooked should not be in charge of serving anyone meals my kids tonight did bite into the meat. Luckily, I caught them before they got really deep into it. I am disgusted and appalled by this restaurant and their lack Care I truly believe that the person that made this meal should not be able to be around food. I will be dealing with Alberta health services early this week.

We are back for their tasty soup noodles. Enjoyed very much their food. Soup broth is balance and hot (temperature wise) which is important for soup noodles.
Ordered spring rolls as well.
Good selections of menu and food along with Vietnamese coffee and bubble tea.

The Tasty Palate
This place has been around forever and still serves up a killer bowl of pho. The pho broth still have it’s signature, beefy and oily goodness.
I had my traditional Bo Kho noodle soup, loaded with beef tendon and chunks of beef. Amazing complex flavor from it’s carrots and onions.
My wife has the Bun Bo Hue and said it’s solid. Very good.

Good experience, customer service was very good. Relatable and genuine. The broth was good too, good portions for okay prices. Got an extra large and it filled me up. It’s good to have on a cold day to warm you up.

I ordered from this restaurant because I live nearby and immediately cancelled my order because I remembered that the last time I ordered here the food was terrible- the soup was watery and had no taste there was hardly anything in it and we threw the other food out because it didn’t taste good . The spring rolls were so hard that they crumbled apart .
Then I read the reviews for this restaurant and found out that in order to get soup with the meat cooked I have to order a different one otherwise I will get raw hunks of beef which aren’t sliced thin enough to cook in any broth even hot broth! But certainly not in broth that has been delivered and sitting out for a while. When you order takeout you don’t want to cook anything, that is the reason you’re ordering takeout ! Maybe it’s traditional to serve raw meat in Vietnam but that’s against the food laws in Canada I’m sure and it’s disgusting I will never order from here again. Raw dripping with blood meat will have to be brought up to a certain temperature when it’s placed in broth to be cooked to be safe enough to eat – you can’t just plop it in the soup & expect it to be the right temperature!! Knowing that’s what they do and then send it out right away I would never order that again anywhere . I won’t order from another Vietnamese place in Country Hills either because I had ants in my food (rice) which I took a picture of. And I know country Hills has ants because our condominium had to hire someone to get rid of them on our roof . Beware!!

All the foods we ordered were delicious, especially the sub. The bread was crunchy and the filling they made smelled so nice! Worth with the price. By the way, the staff/owner were very friendly, very willing to help you.

Ordered in and was not disappointed. Hubby had the beef vermicelli and I had the veggie vermicelli both came with spring rolls. The veggies in the vermicelli dishes nice and fresh. Spring rolls delicious and not greasy at all. Delivered within 25 minutes.
