Nice little restaurant in Scottsburg. I had chile relleno which I enjoyed. It was not spicy, but had a kinda sweet red sauce…very different. If I had to describe the flavor it would taste close to the frozen Tostino pizzas you can buy at Krogers. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is not the place. Flavors have been toned down for the American palate and they don’t offer the flavored waters or horchata you find at most Mexican restaurants. But still its not bad.

We had the buffet. It was good.The food was hot and fresh they kept it refilled. We were seated quickly and received our drink order. Friendly staff and good service. They have good portion size and good prices. We were very happy.

Our experience eating here didn’t match the reviews. Granted, it was a one-time stop, but we were expecting more.
The wait staff were friendly and very accommodating, but that was probably the biggest plus of the place. The food was mediocre, which I didn’t think I would ever say about any Mexican restaurant anywhere. The chips and salsa are only complimentary for the first bowl, which we did see before we polished ours off, but were surprised by. We ordered cheese dip and found it did not come with any chips, but when we asked, they did provide some. The restaurant itself was clean but definitely could use some upgrades- seat cushions were deteriorating. The food did arrive hot and the order was accurate, but was also more expensive than I would have expected.

We have such a good time when we come here. The food and service are always great, it’s been our go to place to catch up while having fun and eating delicious food for years. Place is dirty, walls and booths need to be wiped down a d cleaned. Hard to enjoy a meal when food is sticking to the walls, been on there so long is dried and crusty.
