I generally come here for the happy hour. This year, 2025, the happy hour menu has been limited to a few items.
Even so, the oysters were well shucked and the seafood hand roll (2 for 1) was very tasty.
In a town of gays, the vibes of this place is mostly straight and a little touristy.

I did not have an enjoyable day experience. I ordered an NA Blue Moon and they brought me an actual Blue Moon with no orange slice. By asking to get an orange slice that’s when they decided to reveal to me it was an actual beer. Thank god I didn’t take a sip while waiting for the orange slice. Literally almost ruined my sobriety!! 0/10 the oysters were not fresh. I regretted coming here.

Great place and ambiance. We got here at 10 pm on memorial weekend and our server (Macedonian lady – did not catch her name ) was very welcoming and sushi and grilled salmon was good.

We spent July 4th week in ptown, we found this gem and ended up here three times for lunch and drinks! Food and drinks were amazing…..quality, quantity and price, just perfect no complaints! (Party of 7) The service was probably the best I’ve had! Not sure why the ratings are so low here but my family will definitely be back! We found our place!! Shout out to Ana, she took excellent care of us, JDs is lucky to have you! To the owner of this establishment….. you should be very proud of your staff, they are a rare bunch!! See you next year!!

The open bar area is full of excitement because England vs Netherlands of the semifinals of Euro Cup 2024
Not surprisingly most people are happy because England always more soccer “fans” … and England won 2:1

Raw Oysters are not good as we expected in terms of the freshness and taste
Lobster with “noodles” (can’t remember the name” is excellent and priced reasonably
Lobster rolls is fine
Cod fish is good with a very sizable portion too according to my son
Draft Beer: Sapporo can’t go wrong always my favorite
Service is satisfactory in such busy tourist place
Overall the dining experience is great

My partner and I were seated along the bar overlooking the street. It was a cramped tourist trap. I ordered seltzer water and they brought tap. We told the server about the mistake and she apologized so no harm really but we waited almost 50 minutes for our oysters. And still did not get the correct drink. When the server checked in she mentioned that the entree was coming out soon, and then vanished. I’m delighted to say we decided to vanish as well- and walked out. Food was probably still 0/10 but I guess we’ll never know.

The food was delicious but my girlfriend and I were rushed from the start. As soon as we sat down the waitress asked us 4 times in about 2 minutes if she could take our drink order. They weren’t busy they also weren’t empty. The second one of us finished the last bite of food was off our plate, they dishes, silverware and napkin were whisked away (which happened twice as we finished our food about 5 minutes apart, hovering around us to be finished eating). We had such a wonderful experience last time we were there, this time just spoiled the enjoyment.

Horrible service. Drinks were good, clam chowder was good, chips and crackers were old and stale. Shrimp cocktail was over cooked. When attention to the waitress was brought about it, she continued to ignore us. Had another waitress fix the bill, original waitress chased us down the street stating we didn’t pay enough. Never again will I eat here.
