Very friendly staff and authentic food! I bought a 10 inch Italian hoagie, 5 inch x 5 inch square slice of pizza, and a donut for $11.50 total and it all tasted fantastic!!! If you have a craving for a family bakery, I recommend you check out this great bakery!

I have never bought a single thing from Cibrone’s that was not delicious! And believe me, I’ve been there a lot. Their bread is amazing, cakes and pastries to die for, and their chocolate chip cookies are out of this world! Their hot lunch specials are always fresh and tasty, and their deli counter fully stocked. There’s fresh pizza shells, hoagies, sauces and pastas, and fresh frozen meals. You won’t be disappointed!

Great neighborhood bakery. They have fantastic italian bread, priced very reasonably. Also have a wide assortment of baked goods. Their take and bake pizzas are fantastic and they also offer pizza dough. I always enjoy the lunch special when I stop in and the workers are very friendly.

This is not a restaurant…..
Great Italian bread bakery and deli! Imported Italian foods, and antipasti selections. The prepared foods are cooked fresh daily! In the freezer section, meatballs, regular size and mini for wedding soup! Manicotti, ravioli, and more!

This is the only place I will buy Italian bread. I refuse to buy grocerty store bread and love the fresh, unprocessed Italian bread from Cibrone. Always delicious and smell is addictive. Also enjoy the Italian hoagies in the refrigerator case. No lettuce, but great meat and cheese for $6. Fun to browse and workers are always attentive and on the ball.

Just recently decided to try this bakery the on New Year’s Eve of all days. They were slammed, busy as you’d expect on a holiday synonymous with a baked good. I was just taking a chance on getting a New year’s Pretzel without a pre-order. They were able to accommodate my pretzel needs as well as the other Italian bakery items I made the trip for. All items were excellent, there sandwich rolls are so soft and fluffy in the middle with the perfect light brown crust on the outside. Pepperoni rolls both with and without peppers are great, the one with peppers has some kick. If you’re good with spicy foods you’ll love it, if not get the regular as IMO the pepperoni is also spicy. My family has a few low to 0 spice tolerance people in it. I love it, they eat it and suck air lol. Cheese and deli meats were on point and reasonably priced. Cookies were great too, had them make me a dealers choice assortment and every cookie in it was tasty. I can’t wait to try other items.

On the service and Atmosphere side I was charmed by this place. Was it busy and bustling, yes. I thought they handled it well, lots of smiling faces behind the counter. It probably took about 10-15 mins to get through what I ended up getting, which isn’t bad considering 1) how busy it was and 2) I had given the young lady a lot of things to get me and ended up asking for more things each time she asked “anything else?” You can tell they care about their family business and the customers. I have no knowledge of this but I’m pretty sure most of not all the employees are family. (If I’m wrong sorry! Lol) A lot of resemblance I noticed amongst the staff, which adds to the charm for me. I was entertained by some of the banter between them and other customers while I waited for the service of my order. Having been in customer service myself for 21 years and counting I have a pretty good idea what is and isn’t appropriate and I thought they do a good job here of be personable.
On a final note I’d like to say I’ve looked at other reviews on this bakery and would like to add that reviewers should have a realistic expectation of what they are getting into and have a little grace when reviewing businesses. Time of service is just one component of service. Things take time, deal with it, have a good attitude. If you’re in a rush it’s not the staffs fault you plan your day crappy. That’s what I mean when I say know what you’re getting into. Have some grace and put yourself in their shoes, think how you’d like to be treated and act accordingly. They seem to read most of the reviews as well, and respond well, even to overly negative, moronic reviewers and if you look at their review histories only give bad reviews.
I like to say thanks for the food, service and experience you all do a great job!

Great neighborhood bakery. Everything is great, but the egg bagels are some of the best bagels I have ever had. So if you stop buy make sure you leave with a bag to try. Pepperoni rolls and breakfast pizza is also a favorite. They also have several choices for pasta sauce, canned tomatoes, cheese and meats. Everything you need for pasta night or pizza night. Yes it can get a bit busy and crowded at times but I think that says something about the place being loved in the neighborhood.

I literally live a few houses away from here. I always enjoy the smell of fresh bread being baked by the night shift. This place is always busy. It’s nice that they have their own parking lot, but it can be hard with the traffic on Grove, especially during the holidays. Our front drive is often used for quick stops, but we don’t mind as most people are in and out in only a few minutes. I don’t go in too often, mostly because I would be big as a house if I did!! I do like that they carry eggs, milk and butter, but their baked goods are hefty. Since I hadn’t been in, in a while I decided to go all out and get a sandwich, some hot-dog rolls, couple of deserts and a few slices of pizza. All was less than $20. I’ll have to remember that, and stop buying the cheap overly processed bread from the grocery store. The problem is, that I don’t eat it fast enough and as this has way less preservatives, you s hould store it in the fridge. The counter can get crowded and frantic, but that’s part of the fun for me. I am a big guy, so I always worry about blocking someone’s view. It’s hard to look at the counter goods, but I just wait. The staff are always very welcoming, down to earth and always ask me if I need help right away. The customers are what make this place. One time, I was in a hurry and I simply asked everyone if it would be okay if I grabbed some bread really quick. They were all very kind and said sure. I thanked them again! I always enjoy my interactions with the other customers as we all stand huddled at the front. The people working there seem to be very patient with me, but I already know what I want and don’t ask a ton of questions, so that’s probably why. After living in rural PA for that past 6-years it’s nice to be back in a city and that this place is so close! I don’t know the owners, but I always enjoy when they decorate for the holidays. They have good fresh baked goods, pizza’s and carry raviloi as well! The prices are very reasonable, especially these days!

Yesterday, my aunt was bumped and knocked over by a car in the parking lot. First, she is okay and the driver stayed with her which we are so grateful for. While I wasn’t there, my aunt talked about how amazing all of the staff were while waiting for the paramedics to arrive. She said they stopped what they were doing and were directing traffic to make sure she was safe and could be gotten to by the paramedics. Thank you so much to Cibrone’s and their staff for helping in a scary situation and quick reactions. This is why my family has been coming here for decades and always will.

First time in this awesome family ran bakery/deli. Bakery had lots of great looking goods. I got to sample some delicious sticky buns because a very nice lady let me have two of hers. So great they sold out. Also picked up a pizza square, two loaves, six pack of regular cinnamon rolls, and a hot dog roll. I found this place because I couldn’t find parking at Le Gourmandine and looked up best bakeries near me. What a fantastic and much better bakery as far as amazing very friendly service and variety of fairly priced goods and grocery items.
