Food:
I ordered “Shrimp Hakka Noodles” (12.99) – “Samosa” [Meat & Vegetable] (4.99 × 2) – “Lamb Biryani” (16.99) and “Garlic Naan” (3.99).
Best things were the Hakka and Biryani. They were flavorful, fragrant, and well made. They provided good portions, too.
Worst things, however, were the Naan and Samosas. One thing that Indian restaurants do is stuff Samosas with spice filled vegetables.
These samosas were small, bland, and dry.
Naan bread is also commonly well baked. Here, they underbaked the bread. That resulted in doughy Garlic Naan.
I’m disappointed that I had to bake the Garlic Naan the rest of the way at home, and that the Samosas were unsightly.
Service:
These all arrived via delivery. Everything came sealed and packaged properly. I will say that the sauces were loose, so that could be changed by putting them in another bag.
Overall: While the main meals were good, the Bread & Samosa turned out bad. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order from here again.
Alternatives: Check out Pink Garlic in Allen Park or Astoria House titled Golconda Nawab.
