Reviews
I have dined at the bar and in one of their booths, but haven’t dined outside their patio. Every time I’ve been here, the service has been great. The servers are always busy – working nonstop – yet they are still able to provide good service.
The ambiance is casual – come as you are. I really enjoy the music they’ve played here. It’s definitely loud inside, which doesn’t bother me because it makes it fun. It’s family friendly and they have a variety of options to choose from.
Prices are higher but that doesn’t bother me because I know the quality is much better here. I dine to eat quality not cheaply made food.
We really enjoy the Grilled Yellowtail Kama (Collar) and I especially love their Golden Hana Roll – this is what keeps me coming back. They are generous with the fish here and you can see it in the fish-to-rice ratio. The salad is good and filling as well.
I like that they offer gluten-free sushi and non-rice sushi /sashimi. The chefs are awesome!
If you happen to be stuck on the 215 freeway and are thinking about sushi, Hana Sushi is one of the best in the area. And they have other locations as well!
Itadakimasu!
My favorite is salmon. Very fresh. They served the fish not too cold which I feel can take away from the texture of the bite if it is.
Very busy location. Pricing was a bit high so then expectation were also. I was not disappointed.
Nothing to complain about.
Great food and great experience!
Stopped in for the first time to bring home lunch for my wife and I. Photos of the restaurant attached – Magic Eraser used to protect the identities of the innocent. Sorry, I got excited and snarfed the food before I thought to take photos – my apologies.
I got lucky on parking because I was early and I am disabled. A few parking spots close to the front door, however, there is a lot of surrounding parking spots.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I ordered Combinations D & E with extra Sushi sides – we wanted to try as many different items as possible. The order was prepared and packaged quickly. Hot food was separated from cold food. Food came in several nice box containers, with hot food in a nice, sturdy paper bag with handles.
I do plan on getting food from Hana Sushi again even it is Doordashed.
The restaurant was conveniently close, it was clean and the service was prompt and attentive. I chose a Hana Combo C: Chicken Teriyaki & Assorted Sushi [See Photo]. It was elegantly prepared, moderately priced and looked delicious.
By this time you may be wondering – why is this person giving them a THREE. Up until my first few bites I thought I had found my place. Unfortunately, the flavor of the food was different than what I was expecting.
I gave them a three because SUSHI is a matter of taste and I know we all have different palates. I do not claim to be a sushi connoisseur, it just didn’t WOW me.
They didn’t DO anything wrong, but the food they prepared just wasn’t something I want to go back for. Typically I eat everything on my plate, salad, entrée, rice, sushi, etc. In this case I left most of my salad after 2 bites, only finished about 2/3s of the chicken and while I did finish the sushi, it was not terrific, it was just okay.
So do not let this review prevent you from giving this place a try. You may love it. For me? I am going to keep looking.
We saw this sushi place on our way out of the mall and decided to give it a shot. The place was pretty empty during dinner hour so we figured it would be a good time to check it out.
We got some miso soup to start out with and the server disappeared never to be seen again. The beer I ordered eventually came out after asking another server four times and twenty minutes later. When someone finally stopped we gave our order in fear no one would ever come back. We had to flag someone down to check on our order twice.
When the sushi and chirashi sushi finally showed up it was delicious! Fantastic sushi, fresh and tasted great. The menu is quite good and has plenty of options. The prices are pretty on par with sushi places.
But the service was terrible!! Avoid this place if you don’t want to wait forever. A shame considering how amazing the food was.
