Seriously, this guy is an artist with a chicken and some wood. We make sure to get here every time we’re in the area. Also his wife makes amazing tortillas, rice, beans and salsas. So good my family calls it “magic chicken”. Plus the whole family is really sweet. It’s pretty much perfect.

Family-owned and run, this is hands down some of the best chicken I ever had the pleasue to enjoy! I live in Los Angeles and stumbled across Augie’s restaurant by chance while on a cross-country road trip. I’m driving back to Florida in a few weeks and will go out of my way to visit El Pollo Rico once again – it is THAT GOOD!!! A must eat. Very relaxed settings, but the food is off the hook deliscious!
