We ordered the bone marrow (the portion was super generous, we got 3 bones!), the wedge pastrami salad (the pastrami pieces were fatty fyi), filet, French onion soup, and the short rib tagliatelle pasta. I would probably pass on the pasta next time. They also serve complimentary milk bread, which was absolutely fantastic!
The service here was great – he was very kind and made our experience here so lovely. I loved the pacing of the food being served. It felt really nice to not feel like our dinner was rushed or done in like an hour.
The dining room is beautifully designed, warmly lit but simultaneously coszy. And the service from the moment you walk in feels very attentive without feeling too pretentious. I love bringing people here from out of town, having a fancy date night or an indulgent dinner with friends. Yes of course they make wonderful steaks but they have THE BEST martini in town and the milk bread they send out before your meal is enough to keep returning. Honorable mentions are the steak tartar, caviar trio, and seafood tower.
I love you Harlø ❤️
Drinks: Fantastic. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and had great suggestions for drinks and food.
Service: Everyone was very friendly and came frequent enough that we didn’t need to ask for anything, yet were sparse enough that they weren’t overwhelming. Andrew really made us feel welcomed.
Food: Presentation was outstanding, however, we were a little disappointed with the overall taste of our main dishes (salmon and American Wagyu). Both tasted good, but didn’t blow us away. Dessert was delicious and came in very generous portions.
Quality of food did not justify the price. Many other restaurants will either offer same quality food for way less cost, or higher quality food that justifies the cost.
We might come back to check out happy hour but probably not dinner.
The ambiance is very good here. Dim lighting and very nice decor. Definitely a nice place to have a nice sit down dinner with your significant other or friends.
The food here was good. They offer free Japanese Milk bread that is really good. The sides are more than enough to share for two. I ordered the Smash Potato and Mushroom. Needless to say we had leftovers. We also got the Seafood Chowder. While the presentation was unique, the temperature was warm and not hot to my liking. The taste however was good with a medley of seafood you can mix into your soup. For the entree, we ordered the New York. They were out of the Rib Eye. I was a little disappointed about that but the New York Strip was still tasty, but it just wasn’t my first choice.
All in all it was a good experience. I would go back again.
Overall, we’d definitely come back to try a few other things on the menu!
