I’ll start with, this place is not cheap but for what they give you, it’s a great value. Generous portions of fresh quality food. The service may not be the quickest but they make up for it with food worth waiting for and an amazing staff. If you go here and don’t order something with maple syrup, you are missing out! You can’t go wrong with either the pancakes or French toast. Both are flavorful, fluffy and delicious with some of the best maple syrup in New England. If you’re in the area, this is a must try.

I spent $90 for some eggs, bacon, and two small pieces of French toast. And it got higher than that because they didn’t give me a choice not to leave a tip at checkout, which I would not have done, given that the service was subpar at best. The food was bland, and the only saving grace was the maple syrup. It’s a shame because the place has a bit of hype associated with it for those who live around here. I guess if I had to say something nice, I’d compliment the syrup but there’s plenty of other places I can go for that. So much for finding an affordable breakfast place close to home

Today was my boyfriend and I’s first time going we’ve always heard good things about this place however I was not pleased at all with my experience and will not be going back. When we first got there I noticed that the prices were rather steep but we were still willing to continue eating there, we ordered the lumberjack, double stack of french toast (which came with no sides) , a side of bacon and sausage, and two orange juices with a coffee. When we got our check our bill was 75 dollars including the taxes so we were shocked because we have gone to other places and have gotten the same amount of food for way less than that and honestly it tasted better. We went to pay our bill they entered our bill and my boyfriend goes to pay and they inform him that there was a credit card fee so that brought the bill up to 78 and then on top of that when we got to the tip screen they only gave you the option to do certain percentages with 18 being the lowest along with not even having the option to not give a tip or to customize it (not saying we weren’t going to tip however we would’ve liked the option to pay what we felt was appropriate according to the service we received) so we selected 18% for the tip and that charged us another 14 dollars on top of the 78 dollar bill we already had for our breakfast. Walking out of there our final bill was 92 dollars for breakfast, the credit card fee, and the tip. Not to be that person but almost 100 dollars for breakfast is absolutely insane. My boyfriend and I will not be coming back to this restaurant

This place has been around for 50 years and I just heard about it last week. Really delicious breakfast food at this place and they get their beef from right across the street. The maple syrup is great and a warm jug is served with your meal. The pancakes were super fluffy and the waffles had a really great vanilla flavour. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly as was eggs Benedict. Can’t wait to come back.

So very friendly and accommodating even though we arrived kinda late (sorry bout that) The food and service was excellent.
We even took a tour of the maple production area where they explained the various stages of the process to us. Very kind.
Def will visit again. 🙂

This is THE New England breakfast spot. The views, the fresh food, the atmosphere. It’s popular, be prepared to wait. Pumpkin pancakes were over the top. I had the BEST scrambled eggs… everything cooked to perfection. It’s worth the drive, the wait, and the price. We feel so welcome and comfortable.. always satisfied. My kids live near Boston Ma and they ask to visit everytime the come to NH! Keep it up!

We ordered the “Farmers breakfast”. Taste was really really good, The sausage felt homemade, it was extremely tasty. The Texas toast was also perfect. customer service was great too. everyone are pretty polite and respectful. I enjoyed pouring maple syrup into my black coffee, as recommended on the menu. We definitely would love to come back again.

Stuart and John’s will always have a soft spot in my heart, from the family friendly atmosphere to the delicious food nothing could ever go wrong. If you have small children or if you just want to go yourself to relax with a cup of coffee, it’s the perfect spot. 10/10 visit the spot when you can

A fairly large casual breakfast/lunch spot in a very scenic spot. We must have hit the server on a particularly bad day because we experienced several lapses in service that I don’t think other tables had. As a result, I can not fairly judge the food. That said, I *might* go back another time to see if I have a better experience.

We were in the mood for big breakfast and they did not disappoint.
Also dog friendly restaurant at the outside seating. Just needed to order our food at the takeout window.
