The food here was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and came out hot. You can really tell they take pride in their cooking.
The only areas that could use some improvement are the service and the decor. The staff was polite, but service was a bit slow at the beginning . The dining area is clean, just a little plain adding more decor or ambiance would really elevate the experience.
Overall, I’d definitely come back for the food alone. With a few small improvements, this place could easily be a 5-star spot.

I’m so happy I finally found an Indian restaurant near me that serves amazing quality food. The customer service was incredible, everyone was so nice and thoughtful. I normally drive to Wilmington to get good Indian food, so I’m thrilled there’s finally one right up the road in Jacksonville.
I tried the paneer butter masala and it was fantastic. I also got a vegetable samosa and it was so good and the sauces on the side were perfect. And their garlic naan is crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor.
I love this place and I’ve only been there one time. You can tell the chef and owner genuinely care about the food. I’ll definitely be back!

We were so happy to find out our favorite Indian spot was opening back up, just with a different name. The flavors were delicious and definitely as good if not better than when we’ve been in the past. They have a short menu for their soft-launch (which I heard one of the hostesses mention), and it still had plenty of options! Fingers crossed the Saag Paneer will come back
We ordered a Mango Lassi, Vegetable Samosas and Garlic Naan to start, Malabar Grouper Curry and Dal Makhani for our mains and then finished with an Indian Coffee, Gulab Jamun and Mango Kulfi.
Everything was flavorful, just the right amount of spice and we’ll definitely be back.

The food they served was probably the best Indian food I have ever had in a long time. My friends and I really enjoyed their small but new menu. The servers were really amazing and highly professional. We also enjoyed their dessert menus, and were exceptionally superior to what I have been ever served at any other place, especially their Gulab Jamun.

i’m pregnant , so i can assure you this review is honest. first , the new interior is not my favorite. i had to agree with another review that mentioned the “warm, cozy atmosphere” of Ocean Bay , i miss it. it made me feel comfortable when i ate. the new look is open , small , square marble tables and it almost feels like they’re trying too hard. the fancy , high class dining atmosphere will only appear to a certain type of customer. second , the portions are noticeably smaller. the naan was thin. like paper thin. i mean my napkin was thicker than my garlic naan , i did not like that at all. almost like a flexible cracker. the basmati rice was decent , definitely a smaller portion than what i’ve had previously. however , the butter chicken had wonderful flavor and there was a good amount of chicken , although i prefer a bit more gravy i absolutely will not complain about how much chicken was in my dish. most places will give you 3-5 big square chunks of chicken so i do appreciate how much meat was in my dish. i don’t like that i couldn’t adjust the spice level. some days i like my butter chicken more spicy , some days less spicy. third , the menu is much much smaller now , but that could be because not many people order much of anything that isn’t on there. i’d say it’s definitely worth trying , everyone will have their own opinions. if i could change anything , id want thicker naan. not the thin naan that i received today. i’d also rearrange the seating , the tables are too close together and i HATE sitting close to people when im eating.

This restaurant took over the old ocean back Indian cuisine. Completely new owners and management. It’s good, definitely a classy more elegant experience. The portions are noticeably smaller compared and the prices have increased for sure. Food is still great. I just wish they would use chicken breast instead of chicken thighs for their butter chicken and go back to the original portion sizes for the amount of money you’ll be spending. I will still be back but hopefully they can make that switch
